喜欢 Lovely small and quiet (apart from the rooster 🤣) campsite with a great shelter which offers some fab games opportunities, a fridge, a kettle and a toaster along with fresh homemade produce. The owners a fantastic people and can not do enough for you. They have a rentable firepit which costs £10 along with a bucket of wood, any additional wood buckets are charged at £10. The owners were happy for the kids to feed the chickens which kept them amused for ages! The toilets and showers are clean but very basic and could do with an upgrade but they were fine to use. There is a quaint dog friendly public house a short walk away

不喜欢 There was alot of wasps so maybe some wasp traps may be beneficial

喜欢 A lovely quiet site, very peaceful and absolutely beautiful surroundings. The owners are great, nothing is too much trouble for them. The toilets are by far the cleanest I have experienced. We will definitely be back again soon!

不喜欢 There are alot of mosquitoes and horse flies due to the amount of water on and surrounding the site, obviously nothing can be done about that so just be prepared to be eaten alive

来自经理: Sorry to hear you were affected by the mosquitoes during your stay. Although we feel this is due partly to the environment with the meres and the hot weather we’ve been experiencing of late. Factually, mosquitoes can be more attracted to a small percentage of people more than others. Factors such as dark clothing, blood type, carbon dioxide even alcohol consumption and working out can play a part. 喜欢 Lovely remote and peaceful site with some beautiful resident animals. The owner was fantastic and very helpful in every aspect.

不喜欢 There is only 1 toilet for the small site but now I am aware I will take my camping toilet next time
