喜欢 Creative Camping – A Lovely Little Campsite This was our first time staying at Creative Camping, and what a lovely little site it turned out to be! The campsite is fairly small, with well-spaced, good-sized pitches, and everything feels very friendly and relaxed. There are clean indoor toilets and showers, as well as outdoor showers, which are a fantastic idea when the weather is hot and you just want to cool off. I brought my granddaughter with me, who absolutely loves camping, and she had a brilliant time. She made some new friends, enjoyed all the activities and had such a great time that we ended up extending our stay by another two nights! There are fire pits and barbecues available to use, and you can buy firewood and kindling directly from the site, which makes things really convenient. There are also plenty of things to keep children entertained, including go-karts, a playhouse and lots of other toys and activities. A special mention has to go to the owners, Kim and Gary, who were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing seemed too much trouble. One thing I particularly liked was how secure the site felt. There is a gate controlling access in and out, which is always kept closed. If you’re camping with children, that’s a really reassuring feature, as you know they’re not going to simply wander straight out of the campsite. Honestly, I couldn’t find much fault with the place. It’s friendly, relaxed, well looked after and has everything you need for a great family camping trip. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! In fact, I’m already looking forward to coming back. 😊🏕️

喜欢 Nice location, great views, toilets, and showers were good. Camp fires aloud, food trailer there from 8-10am then 5-7pm, There is also a mobile shop that comes round. Nice little area the kids can go and play.

不喜欢 The only thing I’d have to say is the site isn’t completely flat.

不喜欢 Signage isn’t great and if you blink you’ll miss it. As a very seasoned camper I have to say I thought it very expensive for 1 adult and 2 children (£52 for the weekend) I have stopped in many places cheaper and better facilities. Showers, I have to say these could do with an upgrade, I took a shower in the afternoon, cold no hot water, I was told that at certain times of the day there is hot water but I’ll have to take their word for it. Finally an extra £5 to park your car there on top of the fee, I was told this was on pitched up but I couldn’t find it in the write up. So a total stay £57 for two nights

来自经理: £8.60 each per day as an average. The £5 as explained is taken by the council as a land mitigation fee. For this you got 6 x showers from 8am til 9pm 5 x eco loos 4 x wash areas Free communal fire pit area. Manned site from 8am til 10pm Full shop selling hot cold everything. Level flat pitches. Free bin bags Free washing up liquid. 4 separate tree lined fields with sun or shade. 10 x 10 my pitch. I have no idea where your seasoned camping has been but it prop was in the last millennium. You say come back, I'm not sure you will find me upgrading as the 6 showers were all new last week so I would say give this awful place a swerve. But your right maybe it's best we just offer them once a day for an hour ? As for marking us down on the wifi...? You know we don't have any so yii much have been picking up poor signal from complaining weekly magazine.

喜欢 Friendly staff, nice little cafe there and if needed they can freeze your freezer blocks and will lend you a couple. Farm on site that you can visit, my granddaughter loves it.

不喜欢 The site is a little on the hilly side, pay for showers at 50p for 4 minutes.

喜欢 Nice flat level pitches, each pitch is marked with a number, facilities not too bad

不喜欢 Not impressed with the £5 a night increase due to the site using pitched up. I think for the type of site £25 a night is a little high, we’ve stopped in much better sites over the last year and a half cheaper. Fire pit charge of £10, I can understand a deposit which you’d get back on return. Water taps need a hose on them to make it easier to fill your containers. No reception and it is very difficult to speak to anyone if you have any issues or questions. Personally It feels like the owners want to do as little as possible for the customers and just collect the fees.

来自经理: On the morning of arrival customers receive an email which includes a site map, information about checking in, campsite services, health and safety, and a mobile number for 24 hour onsite assistance. In addition to this owners and staff are available and working around the site if you have any issues or questions.

不喜欢 Toilets, Porter potties not very clean, the roads up to the campsite was the worst I have ever travelled on, not biker friendly

喜欢 3 camping fields all fairly level, toilets & showers clean, good washing up facilities. On site shop for emergencies, nice club house, I thought the prices were a little steep for drinks but you expect that. Over all nice site, little river flowing through of it it, 2 small lakes/ponds for fresh water fishing. Friendly staff.

不喜欢 The 3 camping fields were a little on the boggy side.

喜欢 Nice views from the site, small cafe great for breakfast (very nice) or evening meal, sadly only open for a couple of hours in the morning and evenings (out of season) Friday and Saturday. Facilities were better than expected. Fridge and freezer there for people to use, a loyalty box for bits in the shop. Lovely local pub very close, friendly staff, would recommend a visit. On the whole this was a nice place to stay.

不喜欢 Bikers, it’s very narrow lanes some with stones or mud in the middle so be careful. The site is on a hill so finding a pitch that is level Is interesting. I must have found the only area that was full of stones, bent quite a few pegs. I had 2 nights there but was so uncomfortable I ended up moving. I personally would say very doubtful I would return as the roads aren’t great (speaking from a biker prospective. This is no reflection on the owners at all.
