喜欢 Huge pitches, outstanding location, great phone and to reception and powerful WiFi. Outstanding bar, cafe and restaurant on site and the best dog walking facilities we’ve ever had on a site.

喜欢 The lake looked lovely and the facilities were very clean and modern

不喜欢 The site was nothing like the lovely pictures online. Don’t be fooled. The separate motorhome area doesn’t exist so we were in the middle of a very tight row of other vehicles with a 9.5m tag axle vehicle. The bistro was not a bistro but a room on-site with a few tables and the site organisation for arrival was poor( people pushing to the front to check in, ignoring the que system that was in place). The lady who checked us in was nice but that was the end to the pleasantries on site. Water fill up and electric on pitch was fine, as was the water drop waste and toilet chemical point. In summary, don’t believe the pictures or description of grass and gravel pitches. The pitches are poorly maintained with no definition between them. If you want a quick stop over and you don’t intend to spend time outside your van, this site is fine. Otherwise, don’t bother.

喜欢 We really did enjoy this site. The owners were lovely and the location is outstanding. The pitch had water and electric on it and was very flat. Tv and WiFi reception was brilliant and there is even a shop which runs on a honesty basis (even has a card reader). Keswick was a 4 mile walk away on the Coast to Coast path (fully tarmac) and the local village was a 10 min walk away. Here, you can have a drink and a lovely meal in the pub or a decent snack and a coffee in the village hall cafe.

不喜欢 Only slight challenge is the toilet block being a little on the old side. If you need this and enjoy the modern luxurious toilet blocks on some sites, you may be disappointed. If however you’re grateful for a block that has a toilet, shower and warm water then you’ll be fine. For us, we couldn’t fault it and used a combination of our van shower and the toilets in the block.

喜欢 We had a really positive experience at this site. The location is absolutely beautiful and the owners couldn't do enough to help. Our garage door got stuck on our motorhome and the owners were super quick in providing tools and WD40 to help us out of a spot. All fixed and with no problem. TV reception isn't good at all but the owners kindly provided a sky box which, with the complimentary lead worked a treat. Toilet, shower and recycling facilities are perfect and all kept in a clean and well looked after order. We will visit this site again for sure and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site to anyone wanting a relaxing trip to North Wales.
