喜欢 We loved our stay at Aldersroot. It is a haven for folks like ourselves who wish to learn more about Permaculture and live a more sustainable lifestyle whilst enjoying the simple pleasures of birdsong and sheep grazing around your tent. Facilities are basic and made from recycled materials wherever possible. Do not expect a neat and tidy ‘seaside resort type site’. Camp between the trees and bracken, be woken up by a song thrush and watch out for animal burrows. You are a visitor in their home. As a mature Botanist I was impressed by the owner’s understanding of how to create an environment that promotes biodiversity and a legacy for future generations.

不喜欢 We liked everything about the site. Be aware that you may need to carry your kit/water to the camping pitches, although help was at hand. Facilities are basic but clean.

喜欢 Position. Close to coastal path and unspoilt beach. Friendly welcome. Next to very well stocked farm shop and cafe.

不喜欢 The owner has plans to tidy up some corners of the pitch.

喜欢 Host were very friendly and helpful and the site spacious and attractive. It exceeded my expectations. The facilities are new and of a good standard and one powerful shower is available.

喜欢 Relaxed friendly atmosphere Plenty of room to camp and large covered area at rear of pub to have drinks and food.

喜欢 The campsite is very clean and well managed with good facilities. I felt confident that the managers were working hard and doing whatever they could to keep us all safe and help us enjoy a relaxing break after lockdown. We were able to charge our electric car, by arrangement.
