不喜欢 Small details. Mops or squeegee to be available in facilities blocks so guests who care could clean up after themselves. Hooks on shower cubicles because there is nowhere to hang your kit. A second elsan point and grey waste drain at the newer facilities block. The dish washing sink at the newer facilities block would benefit from a deep clean, although the blame lies with guests who have not cleaned up after using. All of these things would add to what is a good site.

喜欢 Extremely well presented and run park with very clean facilities. Right next to the river Severn if you fancy cooling off, and 5mins walk from the Abermule Inn which does excellent food. Loads of walks nearby. We used the canal towpath to cycle into Newtown traffic free, although some parts need cutting back as they are narrow. Don't be put off by the sound of traffic from the A483, it does not intrude enough to spoil your stay. If you are a light sleeper the few vehicles at night are easily filtered out by earplugs. There is also a nice play area for the children away from the pitches, so you won't have stray balls whacking your van. Guests and staff alike are very friendly here. Phone signal on EE is strong enough to stream. Didn't try park wifi. Tv signal not great,and although the pitches have their own antenna cable, we couldn't get ours to work. Majority of pitches have an open view of the southern sky for satellite users.

喜欢 This site is in a beautiful location and is blessed with excellent friendly staff/owners, a great shop/reception and a lovely play area for the children. It is well placed for several local attractions, is clean and tidy and is a gem in the making. It is at the moment more tilted towards tents, but there are 8 fully serviced hardstanding pitches that are very well presented. The layout would suggest that the intention is to develop more over time.

不喜欢 The elephant in the room here is the facilities. No problem can be found with the cleanliness and it is important that people know that the facilities are very clean. The issue is that for a site which attracts many tenters, who rely on site facilities, there are simply too few toilets and showers to cope with the amount of users. We stayed over a bank holiday weekend, and quickly decided to use our own on board facilities rather than add to the problem. The toilets and showers were overwhelmed by numbers, and it is to the owners credit that they stayed clean. My partner found the electric showers low on water pressure which caused the shower to swing from cold to scalding and then a dribble of water. In fairness, there are notices which address the shortcomings and hint at further improvement, but the time is now. There is also a need for extra water points around the site, as many campers headed for the taps on the serviced pitches, rather than head to the tap outside the toilet/shower cabin. I had no problem with this because who would make it difficult for someone to get water in 30° temps, not me. I hope my comments are seen as constructive because this is a lovely site, but desperately needs more toilets/showers and water points, and if possible a motorhome service point.

We do have another 8 hard standing pitches coming at the end of this year but we definitely get plenty of campers and caravans on the grass pitches over the summer, it was about 50% tents on the bank holiday weekend. The facilities are definitely not an elephant in the room, we are very open about the size (and quantity) of them and as you mentioned we have updates on the site to keep guests informed on progress, guest reviews, like yours, also mention them. Sorry if you were disturbed on your serviced pitch. we do have several fresh water taps around the site, but to be honest in that heat wave we could have done with one on every pitch and a swimming pool! 喜欢 Small well kept site with spotless facilities and lovely views over the fishing lakes. The town of Spilsby is well within walking distance for 2 supermarkets, 3 pubs, and a good selection of takeaways. I personally recommend the fish and chips and the Nelson Butt pub which offers great atmosphere and drinks and fantastic food (be prepared to book for Sunday lunch) at reasonable prices. Don't be put off by the metered electric. Over 4 nights, we in a motorhome used a little over 29 kwh of which 16 is inclusive of the pitch cost. At the end of our stay we paid an extra £3 for the electric. This was in October and we had the heating on overnight.

不喜欢 Not much to dislike at all. Minor issue with the position of the smoke alarm in the facilities which is just a little too close to the shower cubicles and got triggered by the steam.

喜欢 This is a lovely site on a working farm in beautiful Shropshire countryside. The owners are very friendly. Currently there are two hard standing fully serviced pitches with the rest being on grass. The pitches are perfectly flat. The facilities consist of a full kitchen and washing machine with two showers and toilets, with the showers being electric with no timers and no additional charge. For the older kids there is wifi available, but we had such a good signal on EE network that we didn't need it. There is also good tv reception. When we stayed the facilities were unisex, but additional showers and toilets were on the point of completion during our stay. It's quiet and you will sleep well and you cannot hear the A5 at all.There are some great walks across the fields to reach the towpath of the Montgomery canal, and from there you can head towards the Navigation Inn in Maesbury (40 mins) or the Queens Head pub in Queens Head (50 mins). We recommend the Navigation for its excellent food, but check opening times. Closer still is the Punchbowl in West Felton centre (20 mins) along with a well stocked village store and bus stops to get you to either Oswestry or Shrewsbury every half hour. The final approach to the farm is single track, but there is passing places and we didn't have any issues. For children, the site provides play equipment free of charge and there is ample room for them.

不喜欢 A designated area for ball games would be preferred, as some children do get carried away and forget there are huge fields to play in. Not really a dislike, more an observation.

喜欢 Very well kept farm site, with very clean facilities that is within walking/cycling distance of Caernarfon down the path that runs alongside the steam railway. It still feels like you're in a rural setting. You can get on pitch anytime after 11 which is a bonus. You choose any free pitch and get on with your holiday. Excellent phone and tv signal. The toilets and showers are available 24hrs a day and are cleaned during quiet periods, and if guests do their bit they'll stay as immaculate as ever. It's a gem of a site and one of our favourites.

不喜欢 There is very little to dislike, actually nothing for us but some will have issues with the following: It's a working farm, so occasionally you will encounter working farm smells, but these are kept to a minimum. You'll hear the occasional toot from the steam train during the day and hear some aircraft but this is not intrusive. The cockerel keeps good time, so light sleepers might require ear plugs. You'll have minimal interaction with the owners beyond a text message giving payment details and directions to the site, so don't expect anyone on the gate waiting to direct you to a pitch. They are running a farm.

喜欢 Facilities block was spotless but never seemed to close for cleaning. I believe it was a combination of the cleaner's efficiency and guests respecting the facilities. Liked the walk along the canal into Whitchurch which has a great selection of pubs and restaurants. Our pitch backed onto the hedgerow separating us from the canal and the gentle thrum of the narrow boats was quite relaxing. Good cafe on the entrance to the site. The electric pitches are fully serviced and excellent value. I read some reviews that mentioned noise from the A525, our experience wasn't so bad as we were on the furthest position from the road. My partner wore ear plugs and slept well. I was aware of some vehicles but was able to go straight back to sleep. If you're a light sleeper, you might struggle without earplugs. It's down to the individual.

不喜欢 Just a little bit of maintenance on the pitches would enhance them considerably. Minor things like weeding the hard standings and repairing a dripping water tap. There's a lot of seasonal pitches which although they're easy money for the park, greatly reduce availability for tourers.

喜欢 This site is very easy to get to, turning off the A64 and right at the next roundabout. After passing through the security barrier at the entrance, you travel approximately half a mile up the driveway where you'll find the reception hut and a lovely lady warden who is a ray of sunshine and clearly loves her job. The pitches are arranged in a fan like pattern around the amenities block which is very clean and contains individual shower rooms complete with toilet and basin, a washing up area and a laundry room. We visited on a very warm May weekend but visitors in cooler months should know that the block is unheated. Amazingly, even though 2 main roads are close by you can barely hear any traffic due to the site being surrounded by mature trees. Indeed,the noisiest thing you'll hear is the crows coming home to roost. Phone signal is very good as is tv signal. Satellite dish users will enjoy a clear view of the sky. For a day out in York the site is well placed for the Monks cross park and ride or a discounted cab using Streamline who are very good. There is also a Toby Grill within walking distance.

喜欢 A fully serviced pitch is so much better than having to break out the aquaroll and wastemaster. You're treated to some beautiful sunsets. The facilities block is small but very well equipped with 2 unisex bathrooms containing a shower toilet and basin and a pot washing sink and a washing machine and tumble dryer. It's finished to a high standard in a log cabin style and immaculate. The alpacas are very cute. The 4g signal is good as is the site's own wifi, and you can get a tv signal. East Leake village is easily walkable and has all you might need in the way of shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways.

不喜欢 Not personally keen on the blue slate pathway to the facilities block as it's a bit rough to walk on in sandles. The site is on the final approach to East Midlands airport so you will have planes coming over which didn't bother us. I wore earplugs at night and wasn't disturbed.

喜欢 Site immaculate. Facilities block very clean. Quiet even though there's a nearby A road, the orchard and hedges shield the site very well. Satellite hook up and sat boxes are available as the tv signal is bad. Surprisingly the 4g signal is pretty good (3) and there is quite good site wifi.

不喜欢 Not a lot to dislike, I'd happily return. We stayed during Storm Babet and the river had burst its banks, but the site was ok. You might meet some traffic on the approach to the site as Lynch Lane is busier than we expected, but it's not going to ruin your day. The pub just over the river has been shut for some time, and there are no shops within a walkable distance. Walking on the main road not advised due to there being no footpath.

喜欢 Immaculate site, with exceptional toilet/shower block. Each shower has its own toilet and basin. Good walks up to the river seven and the very picturesque lock itself.

不喜欢 Not much to dislike just some observations. You'll struggle to get a satellite signal as the touring pitches have willow trees over them. The security barrier does nothing for the tourers as the pitches are outside the main static site. It's a quiet area so no big deal.

喜欢 We liked the location, grass pitches with ehu next to a river. The grass remains firm even after rain. It's a rural area but you can get a phone signal should you need it. There's access to two fresh water taps situated on the touring field. The pitches are quite flat and we didn't need ramps. There's a footbridge over the river to a children's play area which they may have to share with the neighbouring sheep. Bring a torch for night time manoeuvres. It's a short walk into the village where you'll find a small shop/post office and a pub.

不喜欢 There's no obvious dedicated grey drain so you have to use the chemi loo point, and there's no washing up area. Neither of these points will put us off returning.

喜欢 If you are looking for a new ,spotlessly clean, easy to get to site with a fully serviced pitch, then this is for you. We use our motorhome all year round and sites as well organized as this make it possible. The staff are helpful and friendly and on hand to deal with any problems that may arise. Very large compacted gravel pitches set off tarmac roads with service bollards with 16amp power fresh water and grey waste and wifi. We are on the 3 network and our mobile signal was excellent, and tv reception was good too.You can set up on your pitch in any orientation you like, which adds an extra bit of freedom when you have a continental van. This site is still developing and will only get better as the shrubs and trees they have planted grow and give a softer edge to the landscape. The pitches are flat with a very very slight slope which we didn't even bother getting the levelling blocks out for. The site includes touring, lodges and statics areas each separate from the others. For tourers there are adults only areas and family areas with a large playground for the kids, some good walks around the park and a good sized dog exercise field. There are also a number of deep water lakes, which parents of younger children should be mindful. The facilities block is spotlessly clean with lovely hot showers. Coin operated laundry machines are available in the washing up room. Finally, if you don't fancy cooking, central to the site is Arthur's bar and restaurant. This building also houses the reception. We liked the site and will return.

喜欢 Location is great,very easy to get to from the A483 and is well placed for Welshpool, Newtown and exploring mid Wales. The lovely little town of Montgomery is about 3 miles up the road. The pitches back onto the river Severn so be aware of this if you have young children with you. A public footpath also runs along the river at the back of the pitches. This didn't cause any problems for us. Good clean facilities with a modern toilet and shower block which also has a laundry room and washing up facilities

不喜欢 We didn't find anything to put us off returning. The doors on the shower block could do with self closers as some guests seem unable to shut the door behind them.

喜欢 Mountain scenery, inky black night sky,spotless facilities, friendly staff,all the ingredients for a relaxing stay. Add in the mountain scenery, a pleasant 10min stroll along the river to the pub,the Revolution mountain bike park close by and the Mick Ecstance off road bike experience also in the village and it makes for a great location

不喜欢 Hard standings are a recent development and a little out of the way,but I'd have to say that's all I can think of.

喜欢 Site was very tidy and quiet. Pubs in the village of Swanton Morley are within walking distance if you so choose. The hosts Derek and Julie are extremely friendly and only too happy to make sure that your stay is a pleasant one. The caravan we stayed in was an older model, but it was very clean and very well equipped. In fact, it was the best equipped van we have ever stayed in. The location of the site puts you about 35 to 40 mins from Snetterton race circuit which is the reason for our stay

不喜欢 The ply base on the main bed could do with having the corners rounded off slightly as it can catch you on the leg if you're not careful. This is a minor issue though as the bed itself is very comfortable.
