喜欢 The staff are very helpful and friendly. The pitches are huge with water and electricity easily accessible and plenty of shade and sunshine. The location is close to the ferry and Eurotunnel ports and supermarkets.

不喜欢 The local town is not terribly exciting.

喜欢 Big pitches with easy access to power. Close to the village and easy access to motorway routes.

喜欢 Lovely site and very welcoming hosts. Well marked paths to the village and the pub. Toilets and showers are new and well maintained. Stacks of room for games and recreation. I just wish I had stayed for more than one night en route to Dover ferry port.

不喜欢 Nothing at all other than not staying longer.

喜欢 Nice site with plenty of room between pitches. Good location for local walks.

不喜欢 The access and departure system is hopelessly cumbersome. On arrival, to get onto the site you must ring the warden who has to come to the gate to open it. We were told that departure time was 9am but absolutely before 11am. On our departure day, with rain forecast, we packed up early and were ready to leave by 8am. We went to the barrier and called the warden who said that he did not start work until 9am so the gate would not be opened until then. He said that the restriction that it was impossible to leave before 9am was on the Pitchup booking sheet but it was not. Despite the fact the guy was sitting in his house, only 200yds away, he refused to open the barrier or give us the code to do so until 8:40 when he sauntered across. It is difficult to imagine a less user-friendly set up and it seemed that the warden was simply being bloody-minded and awkward.
