喜欢 We have been coming here for a while now because it’s such a relaxing atmosphere. We love the way that the site is run, the owners are fantastic and very welcoming. There are fridges on site with essentials (and prosecco) you pay for them with an honesty box, which I think just sums up the vibe of the place. There are plenty of amazing walks in the area as well as many other family attractions a short drive away.

喜欢 Beautiful, well maintained camp site. The owners are really accommodating and just could not do enough for you. Location wise, there is a fantastic pub 5mins walk with fantastic food and a carvery on a Sunday. The owners told us they had only been running the site for about two years, to be honest, if they had said 10 years I would have believed it. Its just the little touches like the dog stick library, the honesty fridge and freezer selling ice creams and bags of ice. Just take what you like and put the money in the tin, brilliant!!

喜欢 Booked Garslade for the last August Bank Holiday with my wife, our son and his girlfriend. I had reservations before arriving as the price was amazing, £60 from Friday through to the Bank Holiday Monday with electric hookup. This had to be too good to be true. Well….from the second we arrived all my worries were over. We were greeted very warmly by the owner who showed us to our pitch, and had arranged for our Son to be on the pitch right next door. Yes the site is very simple, but in a good way. There are toilets and a shower block which were nice and clean. A washing up area, easy access to fresh running water to fill up your water butts AND, get this, FREE WiFi !! The site is adults only which I did not realise at time of booking, this was actually quite nice I can’t lie 😜😜but pets are allowed and camp fires which I love. As for the location, we couldn’t have asked for better. It’s a lovely part of the UK and there so many things to do and see. Glastonbury is a 10mins drive with good amenities and a great place to people watch while having a coffee. Wells, again a short drive Wookey Hole caves which is a great day out if you have kids. Cheddar Gorge another great place to visit also a short drive away. I could go on, there are so many places to visit in this part of the UK.

不喜欢 If there is just one little niggle. There was a faint smell from the chemical loo disposal area. Couldn’t smell it from any other area apart from near the toilet/shower block. This could have quite easily been because it needed emptying or something like that. I’m sure all camp sites suffer the same.
