喜欢 Beautifully located and quiet (apart from the sound of water and rain) campsite by the side of the River Derwent. Spacious showers with warm water, albeit a short distance away from the campsite. Several nice pubs and hotels within reasonable walking distance, although the adjacent hamlet of Seatoller is very small with no shops. The campsite is very close to the start of several good mountain walks, so an excellent choice for hikers.

不喜欢 Facilities were basic, but this is fairly reflected in the price IMO. The campsite was not busy when I visited (mid-week in late Autumn), but I wonder whether the bathroom facilities (one toilet and a urinal for men) would have been sufficient had the campsite been fuller. Some of the pitches on the lower level of the campsite had standing water on them, albeit during a period of sustained rainfall.
