喜欢 Just back today from a lovely short weekend break with my family. Stayed in the leaping lamb 4 birth hut with my wife and 2 daughters. It was snug but very cosy. The host was lovely and met us on arrival. The hut has everything we needed, cutlery, crockery etc. There was tea, coffee, sugar, some complimentary biscuits and they even had some French milk in the fridge! Very impressed. The huts were opposite a field of sheep and lambs and was very peaceful and scenic. We had a day out in Seaham which was about a 10-15 min drive away and happened upon a massive food festival with TV chefs on stage and all sorts so this is a good base for days like that. The huts are just next to the village of Haswell which had one friendly pub and everyone we passed said hello. Would definitely recommend (although dogs are not allowed, presumably because it is adjacent to the sheep field). I’m sure we will be back at some point 😀
