喜欢 A lovely peaceful campsite. Nice big pitches spread around the edge of the field so you have loads of space, and a massive area for the kids to play in the middle. The site is along a country lane, away from the main road so is really quiet. No light pollution so star gazing is great in the middle of nowhere. No music policy is great! I’ve stayed on campsites where people have their music/movies playing really loudly without any respect for fellow campers, so we really liked this rule. The toilets/showers/washing up area were always clean, the toilets/showers are a very good size with plenty of hooks to hang up all your bits. There were quite a few dogs on site, they were all very well behaved with respectful owners. You wouldn’t know they were there! There are walks through the fields/woods, perfect for a dog walk. Andrea, the site manager was very welcoming and very friendly. The onsite micro pub (wasn’t very micro, it’s big!) was a lovely pub, barn style, warm, friendly, and popular.
