喜欢 No road noise, large grass fields in which to pitch, how showers.

不喜欢 The site was a lot busier than I expected. The plumbed toilets appeared to be for DoE students only - chemical toilets provided for everyone else. Only 2 showers for the whole site so there was always a queue (you need 50p coin which is clearly stated). The road up to the site was very narrow and a few lads seemed to drive to and from the site multiple times at high speed - I almost had collisions in a few bends because they were in the middle of the road, just a good job I was going very slowly.

喜欢 Large field in quiet location. No traffic noise and couldn't hear other people. Lovely view.

不喜欢 Last 0.3 of the road is very bad. I wouldn't suggest it in a vehicle with low ground clearance. Water is a large container in one corner. Toilets were 2 chemical loos.

喜欢 Quiet, rural location with lots of birds and wildlife. Good walking right from the site. Proper toilets and showers (don't look much from the outside but all working). Firm, gently sloping terraces to pitch on.

不喜欢 Steep slope back onto the main road means a tricky handbrake start in a motorhome. Easier to turn left and turn around than turn right.

喜欢 Quiet rural location with great views of surrounding countryside, especially from modern stone circle at top of hill. Solar charger with lockers for your phone me a nice touch. Toilets and showers are handy.

不喜欢 Ground very sloped so bring your chocks

喜欢 Large open field right by river with footpath and town centre. Has all the facilities you could want except WiFi & electric. Secure gated access. Dog friendly. Asda on opposite bank ~5-10min walk.

不喜欢 Can flood in winter

喜欢 Boiling water and an oven available in the wash up room. 15 minute walk from town centre

不喜欢 Loud parties going on until midnight. People drying their hair in the wash up room. No-one wearing masks or asked to wear masks in communal areas.

喜欢 Everything was in perfect condition and easy to find. Facilities include toilets, showers with adjustable temperature, dishwashing, clothes washing dinks, swimming pool with shade and children's pool, dog walking field. Very shady with lots of trees. Excellent free WiFi in the information room. Loved this campsite.

不喜欢 Temperature control on the showered very delicate.
