喜欢 Check in was easy, super friendly and helpful staff on reception. Shared lots of information about the area and campsite and were made to feel very welcome. Lovely, shady pitch big enough for car, private and protected with bushes. Facilities were fantastically well kept, great showers, great toilets, great washing up area. We didn’t sit in the bar area or restaurant as we don’t drink and had taken our own food to cool, but the menu was varied as we were shown when we checked in, and we liked the selection of ice creams available 🍦 Having the river run past was absolutely idyllic, and we spent hours floating around. We didn’t participate as it felt like it was more aimed at kids/families (though we were told we were welcome to join!), but they organised a float down the river into town which we thought was so lovely. The campsite was silent after 11pm, and we had fantastic sleep. Everyone was respectful of each other - campers and staff alike. It was lovely. Close by to walking routes, though but 40 degrees during our stay so we mostly floated on the river. Short drive into nearby towns for cafes/restaurants/shops. Quite remote, but that’s what we were wanting! Lovely looking pool, but didn’t use it so can’t comment on this area. I honestly cannot recommend this campsite enough, and I think we’d definitely return - especially if we have kids!

不喜欢 No soap in toilets, but took our own, not a problem.
