This place truly understands what it takes to keep both kids and adults happy. ​From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The pitches are generously sized, giving us plenty of space to set up our tent without feeling like we were on top of our neighbours. The layout of the site is well-thought-out, with separate areas for families and those seeking a quieter stay, which is a big plus. We were also delighted to find that the campsite is dog-friendly, so our four-legged family member could join in on the fun. ​What really sets Akebar apart is the incredible range of facilities. The wash blocks were spotless, with a dedicated family bathroom that made getting the little ones ready a breeze. The on-site shop was a lifesaver, stocking everything from forgotten essentials to fresh local produce and delicious ice cream.
