喜欢 Layout of the huts, availability of firepit and parking. It is a lovely area the huts look nice from the outside. Located not long off the M6 so a handy stopover if you don't want to use a hotel.

不喜欢 Dampness in the hut. Our bedding was damp and there was a weird smell when we arrived which we would get a random whiff of now and then. Not sure how clean the bedding was. Very high top bunk. We left at 8am nobody available to give our keys to so had to post them. There are lots of rules to follow with a fine of £500 if you break them and also a £50 charge if the bedding gets soiled which I thought was iffy considering I wasn't sure how clean our damp stained bedding was. £10 if you break or lose the key so with having to post it I was a bit anxious. I emailed all my concerns with the damp, odd smell and the bedding and informed them that my key had been posted as soon as we left and haven't heard anything yet so I don't know if the key or the email has been picked up yet. (Early afternoon now) There was also no cutlery in the hut.

喜欢 Ease of booking in

不喜欢 Toilet blocks weren't cleaned while we were there and I doubt they were cleaned prior. Looks like they cut the grass more often than clean the toilets and showers. Receptionist lied when we were booking in saying that the two pitches I'd booked couldn't be next to each other due to how busy the site was - the one next to where I ended up was empty. There doesn't seem to be any enforcement of a noise curfew I was kept awake until 2am by music and loud chatting and singing. There's places you can camp if you want to do that but I don't think a family site is the place. When we went swimming the edges of the pool were coming off. Came clean off when another user held it for support. There also doesn't seem to be a cut off time for set ups, listening to people arriving and blowing airbeds up at 10.30pm was a nice way to spend our last night there. I know its not guaranteed but don't rely on the WiFi even the paid for one
