喜欢 we absolutely loved this site. We only had a two nights stay Friday to Sunday, but it was absolutely gorgeous and seemed like a lot longer. There was no shortage of options for working our dogs. The pitches were level and very large. There was a five meter grass area behind each pitch was out which was ideal for our dogs to be tethered but have some freedom as well. The facilities were spotless and clean and the showers were lovely and hot. The on-site farm shop was very handy. We got breakfast sandwiches one morning and a beautiful homemade Victoria sponge cake as well as a couple of treats to keep in our caravan. On arrival we were met and escorted to our pitch then received a text message later that afternoon from a number to contact if we had any queries or needs. There were quite a few seasonal pitches already taken and we can certainly see why. We have inquired about a seasonal pitch ourselves since coming home. There is a fantastic dog park on site, which is one of the reasons why we booked this when dogs are teed all the time you are away they need some off lead time to burn up some extra energy The site was very peaceful and picturesque. A lot of the areas on the site looked to be newly completed and the facilities are very modern We really didn’t want to come home!! 😕

喜欢 Loved absolutely everything about this site. The host Tilly was lovely. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There’s a lovely little shop with an honestly box for anything from fly spray to tampons and ice creams. The shower blocks are lovely and clean with constant hot water. The dog walk directly off the site is amazing and you can go near or far with stunning views. We were told there is a quiz night and bingo up at the on site cafe but didn’t venture up ourselves. There’s a lovely warm feeling to this site, no clickiness and everyone was welcoming and polite. We will definitely be back!! Thank you 🙏

喜欢 We loved everything about this site. It was breathtakingly beautiful, the scenery, the dog walks It was peaceful. the facilities the spotless and clean. The fish and chip van the porches were level and large. We were also lucky enough to have fantastic weather. On arrival, we went to reception and were given a map of the site and told a member of staff meet us and show us to the pictures. We greeted by a lovely lady on a bike and shown to the area where we could pick our pitch . Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for you. On site there is a shop which sells everything from deodorant to wine! The shower blocks spotlessly clean and modern with constant hot water. The power supply was reliable, unlike other sites. There are even vending machines with chocolate and cans of pop, etc in the indoor pot cleaning area which was lovely and warm. We didn’t use this ourselves, but I had a look to take some photos We will definitely be coming back to this site. It is our favourite so far. I’m reluctant to leave such a good review, as more people will flock here and we might not be able to get in next time. ☺️

喜欢 We loved everything about this site. The walls were amazing. We have 2 dogs and have been to sites before where the walk is very short and nothing to do. Here you can go as long or short as you want. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the lovely warm arrival by the ladies on reception, to sadly leaving even though we wish we could have stated longer. The pitches were very spacious and clean not to mention level. We had our caravan, awning and car all in a row on the pitch. The electricity was good. ie didn’t trip if you wanted to boil the kettle while the heater was on! The shower blocks were immaculate as well as warm and had the radio playing which was a lovely touch. Yes they were a little dated but lovely hot water for a shower and very clean facilities. We struggled for a phone signal on and off but this may have been it network and did t impact on our stay as we weren’t away to be on our phones!

喜欢 We liked everything about this site. On arrival were were greeted (sorry I didn’t get your name) and offered a choice of pitches, one had a sea view without obstruction. The site was immaculately clean and tidy with very spacious pitches and nice touches such as the positive affirmations in the bathrooms. The facilities were spotlessly clean and the constant showers were a very welcome change to the push button ones that you commonly come across. The views were amazing, we were offered the first pitch near the entrance barrier which meant nothing could obstruct our sea view. It was amazing to wake up and see it each morning. The dog park was a god send. Our 2 dogs love some play time off lead chasing the ball etc and it was a fantastic touch that there was an actual basket of dog toys provided, which, might I add were replenished throughout our stay!! Mappleton beach was about a 10-15 minute walk away which was lovely too, very clean and not busy either, which meant our dogs could have some free reign too. There is a lovely little shop and cafe called the Old Post Office which sells cakes, meals and ice from Mr Moos too. Everyone on the site that we came across was friendly and chatty and they made you feel welcome. We would recommend this site if you’re thinking of visiting Hornsea or Mappleton. It is real value for money and so peaceful and quiet. There is also a large Tesco which was 6 mins drive away and has a petrol station. We also had fish and chips from Whiteheads which was a 5 minute drive away and they were delicious! We will certainly be back for another stay! Thanks again for a very pleasant visit.

喜欢 We moved everything about this site from the views to the dog park. There is a fab chippy on site and a shop too; which was handy because I forgot to pack my gin and tonic 🙈. Loads of places to walk the dogs both on and off site which is what it’s all about for us. The facilities are lovely and clean and there are plenty of showers and toilets, as well as sinks within cubicles too so you can have a wash in private.

不喜欢 The only thing I could find fault with is the push button showers. Especially when washing your hair this is a real bind. We will definitely be returning though!

喜欢 We loved everything about this site. It was very clean and was peaceful. The lady at reception was very lovely and was friendly, making us feel welcome from the get go. There are geese and ducks on site which were cute and a pleasure to watch with their young. There is a designated area for dog walking by the river which is a god send. We have been to sites before that say dog walking area but there clearly wasn’t one, so to have one was a real bonus for us. The site is very quiet and everyone we came across was friendly. There were 2 shower blocks that we saw, our nearest one looked old and dated, but inside was lovely and warm and spotlessly clean. Plenty of room to get showered and changed with hooks for your belongings. On arrival, you are given a map of the site and an information booklet, as well as a fob for the security gate. There are shops within a 10 minute drive (a weakness for me as there was a LIDL, and their freshly baked pastries and sweet treats are amazing) so I drove over on Sunday morning to get some croissants for breakfast. 🥐 We were here over a weekend and the was even an ice cream van that came on the site which was a lovely surprise 🍦 This site is really well laid out with everything you could ask for. We will definitely be coming back!! 👌🏻

喜欢 Lovely clean site, very well maintained and modern clean shower and toilet facilities. Nice and small so not noisy and overly busy especially with it being Easter weekend. It was so quiet at night and in the day too to be fair. Gorgeous views and scenery too and generous pitch sizes.

不喜欢 The only thing stopping us from giving 5 stars is that it says dog walks but there aren’t actually any? There is a farmers lane which takes about 3 minutes to walk down and looks full of promise and open fields but within 3 minutes, each field you come too says private property no trespassing In the other direction back up the housing estate it was just houses and then the main road so not ideal. However this wasn’t the end of the world, although it became boring when we were looking forward to exploring with the dogs.
