喜欢 Absolutely superb location on the edge of Dartmore, the site has woods and a small river. It is an eco conservation site, where it is mainly off grid. We stayed in a bothy with own log burner and bbq area. The kitchen, toilets and showers were a ten second walk away. There is also a bar. The hosts are lovely, very helpful and committed to protecting the environment. Highly recommended, especially if you want peace and quiet and/or like hiking the trails that run through the site.

喜欢 Beautiful campsite. Amazing brewery and tap room on site. Nice bbq, but would have been nicer to have a wider range than hotdogs. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

不喜欢 Apparently they only open on selected times of the year, so more dates please!

喜欢 Absolutely loved this place. We stayed in the gypsy style caravan overlooking the lake. In the evening we had a bbq as the sun went down, while sharing a bottle of wine, sitting at the picnic bench. We were surrounded by hills and gorgeous scenery. In the morning the geese waddled up to the fence, before heading down to the lake. The caravan is beaufiful inside with a double bed and two bunk beds. It has a log burner, if needed. The kitchen is out the back, the gas cooker, sink and equipment is covered but you're not. So be prepared to put on a rainmac when doing the washing up😄. Thankfully we stayed dry the whole time we were there. The showers are a short, scenic walk across the field or you can drive via an access road. The owners are super friendly and run an excellent cafe on site. Highly recommend the Welsh Breakfast. Also recommend the hiking in the hills just across the road, spectacular views. We followed the mountain bike trail back to the campsite, thus next time we go we'll bring our bikes. For Parkrunners, Ruthin Parkrun is a short drive away.

喜欢 Great campsite, the showers are a bit of a schlep from the camping, but that a minor issue. My best fav bits 1) the catering van run by the two lovely ladies 2) The live music on Sunday night. 3) Hearing the Steam Trains just over the hedge as they go past in the valley. If you go down to the gate you can see the trains 4) The footpath to Swanage that leads you through a field and over a quaint bridge before meeting Victoria Road. This place will be even better when the new facilities are built- swimming pool and restaurant. There is a shop on site. But I never went in so can't say what it was like.
