喜欢 The campsite is in a lovely location and ideal for the ferry to Mull etc. The staff were friendly and we got a good pitch with a view of the sea through the lodges. The pitch was spacious and flat.

不喜欢 The facilities were not up to the standard of what we paid for the night. The toilet and shower blocks are tired and the men’s facilities in particular were poor. The main factor for 3 stars though was, as mentioned by other reviews the water quality. We were notified on arrival of the need to boil water (and they said we had email notification of this…we hadn’t) but there is a difference between having not drinking water and having brown water. The signs around make this sound like a temporary issue but if that was the case why aren’t customers provided with some complementary bottles on arrival? I wouldn’t drink brown water even if it was boiled, I wasn’t going to give it to my dogs and I have just rewashed all my pots and pans at our next site as washing them in that water was not satisfactory. For the price we paid, not to have water that is usable is unacceptable. You do have to wonder if the expensive lodges all around the park have the same water as I don’t think the hot tubs would look very appealing with a brown twinge…….!

喜欢 Amazing views and good sized pitches. Fab location for the costal path and local amenities like fish and chips and a nice walk into the village. Sunset is amazing!

不喜欢 Facilities are basic, would be handy to have space to put your belongings on in the showers etc and a few more mirrors. There is very little phone signal so googling walks and local attractions hard so some payable wifi optional would be good.

喜欢 Lovely little site for a stop off when heading back home from Cornwall and Devon. Very helpful owner.

不喜欢 Not enough toilets and showers for the amount of people on site. A queue of 10 people on Sunday morning. We gave up and stopped at the nearest service station to freshen up after leaving! This would put us off from staying again unfortunately.

喜欢 Location is fab for the coast. Lovely pitch with a sea view. Facilities are very good. We loved the walk down to the beach.

喜欢 So lovely to fall asleep and wake up listening to the sound of the river! We loved this peaceful site and it was just perfect to sit with a drink and a campfire. We were a little later than expected arriving and the owner was so chilled about it which we love.

不喜欢 Looking forward to the shower block being built so we can stay more than one night!
