喜欢 Pitches are quite level. The area is a great area for walking with many walks from the site but thousands within 10 - 15 miles travel. Facilities were nice & cleaned regularly. An inn is next door for those who need one.

不喜欢 Washing up hot water is too hot. No lighting at all to get you to the facilities at night (very dark). The water bollards are both to one side of the pitching area away from the touring spots & next to the permanently sited vans. Daytime road noise but although very quiet at night. Poor TV & phone signal & no site internet.

喜欢 Nice location, great walking in all directions. Very quiet. Generally good facilities & very well kept.

不喜欢 Needed to use levelling ramps. The motor home service point was not a drive over arrangement for grey water nor did it have fresh water available. Maybe not enough toilets & showers when the site is busy.

来自经理: Thanks for leaving a review. We will have to check the map we send out as it does have the drive over grey waste facility shown and you are welcome to use it. This is located in the B field, near to fresh water and refuse facilities. If you'd let us know we could have shown you. We have ladies and gents toilets and showers plus a further section which is unisex, beyond the laundry area and this is normally plenty for everyone. Our pitches are fairly level so I'm sorry you needed a ramp. Glad you enjoyed your stay! We close at the end of October and are back open mid March next year!

喜欢 Friendly helpful staff, the location & nice clean facilities.

不喜欢 Not all hard standing pitches are level - ramps solve the problem but if you are travelling from the site everyday of your stay it can be tedious putting it up on and taking it down off them each day. I was helped by being moved to a different pitch when I explained the situation.

喜欢 The location - central for great walking in the area with BishopDale, CoverDale , Swaledale, WensleyDale, WharfeDale & ArkengarthDale all less than a hour away. The Hosts - very helpful & friendly. The Site - pleasant space next to a through road but quiet in the night.

不喜欢 Narrow roads but a fact of life in The Dales.
