喜欢 Lovely and peaceful site with great amenities. Check in process was great and they showed you to yout pitch. Only stayed one night as we were heading to Belgium the next day, but would stay here again for sure

喜欢 Fishing lake was lovely. Really peaceful and beautiful to walk around.

不喜欢 Camping was basic. Needs a lttle TLC in places. Didn't bother with shower as to get to was down a steep slope, which wasn't great on the knees. Shame there isn't a more walkable route to the toilets. Won't slate it as its a nice site. Just not for us.

喜欢 Well what can I say. This is my new favourite place. Everything about it was perfect, from the welcoming feeling, the views, the pitch, the bar, the sunset and the people we met. Couldn't ask for anything else. Showers and toilets were kept very clean and the owners worked very hard to make sure everyone's needs were met. The local produced ales and beers were really nice, with locally produced honey and free range eggs on tap as well. 10 out of 10

喜欢 Lovely clean and well maintained site in close proximity to Cheltenham. Toilet blocks and facilities are immaculate. Hardstanding pitch had a concrete slab and chippings, which were both level and didn't need ramps. Only thing I found a little annoying, but thought I'd mention it, was the hedge separating each pitch is a bit close to the concrete slab, so i had to get in and out using the passenger door to use the full chipping for my canopy. I dont think the hedges are necessary, but some may like them.

不喜欢 Close proximity to dual carriageway can be quite noisy, but didnt affect our stay.

喜欢 Nice site. Pitches 9 and 8 by the toilets seem to be the better of the two gravel pitches. We didn't really need to use our ramps as it was pretty level. The others looked to be quite slopey, so definitely would need big ramps. Site was clean and tidy with all the basic amenities. Check in process was easy as well. Showers were hot and not the ones where you have to keep pushing the button, which is a bonus. Toilets are not modern, but had what we needed.

不喜欢 Only thing I would say, which isn't really a complaint, is id say the 10:30pm quiet time should be earlier like 9:30pm, especially as there are residents behind. We would hear a lot of talking and dogs after the 10:30pm curfew, but it didn't disturb us.

喜欢 Location by the river wye and access to kayaks was perfect. Onsite cafe and pop up bar and food was a great touch. Music on Saturday night was perfect.

不喜欢 It was all going so well until we returned from a brilliant few hours kayaking. We returned to our campervan to find we had been rudely blocked in by some very inconsiderate families who decided to pitch their tents all around our camper, forcing us to move, which we had to break tree branches to get out. I dont think i have ever come across such blantant ignorant people in my life. I'm guessing this is the downside of not having dedicated pitches and telling people they can pitch anywhere they want. Site needs better pitch management and rules giving space between set ups. Toilets amd showers in main house were pretty disgusting as well with toilet paper all over the floor and the floors soaking wet. Very basic amenities and no where to empty toilet and dirty water waste. The site does not properly cater for campervans and motorhomes. The "No noise" policy is not ahered to either. Quite noisy up until 12:30am. lucky we had ear plug. Shame, as this site has a lot of potential.

喜欢 Amazing views and new modern toilet and shower blocks.

不喜欢 Pitches not level for campervans. Very boggy and lots of damage due to recent weather leaving deep tyre treads. Even though it had wifi, we couldn't get a signal at all our pitch. No mobile phone coverage either. Needs better wifi coverage on site to reach all pitches. Could also do with a smaller toiler and shower block by the bottom pitches to save walking so far.

喜欢 Lovely perfectly level pitches and excellent facilities. Nice layout with everything you need for your stay. Shower amd toilet blocks are up there with the best we've seen and were kept very clean and tidy. Janet was a perfect host and was there to make sure you got settled.

不喜欢 Shame about the location, but this has no reflection at all on the site, which was perfect and well thought out. Was a little disappointed to see how run down the surrounding area was. Was a shame, but the site itself was amazing.

喜欢 Really lovely site with the bonus of being next to the pub. Food was absolutely amazing and the beer was good too. Facilities and services were spot on and very well thought out. This was a perfect stop for visiting Anglesey and would definitely stay again. Added bonus is we actually met the owners on a different site the next day on our tour of North Wales, who were on a little break themselves.

喜欢 Freedom to pitch wherever you liked and have open fire bbq or fires. Chickens roaming around coming to say hello brought a smile to our faces. Good price for a non EHU pitch so we'll worth it

不喜欢 Struggled to find a level pitches. Road noise was quite loud. No hot water at pot washing station and only one sink. Only one shower and one male and female toilet, so good do with adding another portable block. Really tight to get into the site as well and you can miss the turning really easy.

喜欢 Loved the layout of this site on multilevels. Awesome views of the estuary with lovely walks. Facilities were very good, with nice hot showers. Pitches were perfect, level and fully serviced. Only spent a night on tour around Wales, but it had a very welcoming feel. Would definitely return.

不喜欢 Non EHU pitch price is expensive for what it is. This was our first stay of our week tour of west and nrth wales and the cost was rhe highest for a non EHU pitch. The pitches are not level and we couldn't get comfortable at all being on a slope on the highest point on the ramps. No waste disposal for toilet or grey waste and couldn't find a fresh water supply anywhere to fill our water container. Had to fill up water bottles to top up the container. The honesty shop was a nice feature, but i found the items to be quite expensive for what you would pay in a local garage.

喜欢 Nice and clean with good sized pitches. Facilites well maintained, modern and exceptionally clean.

不喜欢 Pitches backing on to A40 are loud, especially early hours and late into evening. It didnt affect our stay as we were attending the RIAT 2023 airshow, so it was an early 5am start for us.

喜欢 Very peaceful site located in beautiful surroundings. The sites facilites were excellent and immaculately clean. Showers are amazing, the best i've ever used on a campsite. Eco friendly with nice little touches including access to fire pits, a fridge, washing machine, microwave and games room. Perfect for a relaxing stay to unwind. Great bus routes into Teignmounth and Torquay, only a 5 minutes walk for £2.

不喜欢 These did not affect our stay in anyway and are not dislikes, but thought i would mention them. The pitches are not perfectly level, so make sure you have levellers if you want it perfectly level. For us, it just meant we had to reposition the van to find a spot that work for our levellers, which are not that big. The pitches are quite narrow as well, so wont be big enough for units with large awnings. We have a Vango Faros, which just fit on the Katy pitch on my VW T5.1. It wouldnt fit on the Gala pitch, so we asked to move. They were very accomodating as well, which was brilliant. Other pitches looked narrower than the Katy, so just check if you are looking to bring an awning. There were no hand towels or dryers in toilet areas, but again, these were kept immaculately clean, so you just need to remember to take your own towel to dry your hands when using the toilet. There wasnt a chemical disposal point from what i could see either, so had nowhere to empty portaloo or waste water container. You are no further than 30 seconds from a toilet anyway, but just in case you need to use one in your van.

喜欢 Site was very peaceful in a great location to visit Cheltenham. Toilet block kept nice and clean and amenities were also very clean and well maintained. Handstand pitch was flat with plenty of space. Check in process was easy as well. Would highly recommend
