喜欢 Where do I start with this place!!?? Just stunning views, you can watch the sun set/rise above the sea. Beautiful open spacious pitches. Possibly the best showers I have ever had on a camp site that are kept clean. I'm sure young families appreciate that a shower is complete as a whole bathroom (sink, shower, toilet). I really feel like they have put thought into a visitors experience, with a communal fridge, a small utility with a kettle, microwave, charging station, books, comunal washing line and I'm sure more that I have forgotten. Then there is the zoo lol! I mean what!!! It's like a free zoo on this camp site that kids or anyone will love to walk around. The location is great, short drive to a national trust car park for a hike to the most southern point of Britain or beach (beautiful, but small and busy), half hour walk or short drive to a small dock where you can swim in clear water, or another beach that is 40 mins walk (beautiful and quiet).

不喜欢 The zoo is just showing off!!!! Just wow!! I keep calling it a zoo because I would walk around and find more and more animals. My hat is off :)

喜欢 This is most definitely the smallest site I have ever stayed at, that gave a certain quiet, unique, intimate feel that we just loved as we sat by our tent and watched out over the landscape of fields!!! Top tip, turn the tent around to face the small fence overlooking the landscape. Toilets and showers for a campsite like this are very good and always kept clean. It's a great location close to the train station. The trains to st Ives and Carbis bay are brilliant!!! You get a day ticket for £4.60 ish (I forgot) and you can go back and forth as you please. Much better than driving there!!! From a Badcock to another well done!!

喜欢 I don't like going back to the same place twice (Too much to see!) But we love Newquay and this site is nicely located with a 30 min walk to the beach, train station, shops and more. Yes the showers may be a little dated, but clean and respectable. I don't expect the world when I paid so little for a place located so well, with great on site facilities like the arcades, shops, take away and swimming pool!!!!! If your lucky to get a pitch by the lakes at the bottom then that's a great bonus!!

喜欢 READ DISLIKES AFTER!!! Great location, close to a beach and lovely village on a stunning setting on the bottom of mountains. The reception is located in a beautiful old building that I believe also has a bar, snooker room and I think perhaps more (I never used). The toilets and showers are ok but better than most. Over all the whole site is well above average.

不喜欢 ....Yet I'm so disappointed I cannot recommend this place to anyone. All these great points but all I ask is that a campsite is clean to an ok standards. I took photos so the receptionist could believe how bad it was (ATTACHED PHOTOS). I spoke to around 6 people who felt as angry as me. Poo and wee on the toilet seats, no toilet roll in men's or women's, washing up sinks had not been cleaned, so people had started to pile up food waist behind the tap. My wife wouldn't use the showers. The urinals are semi blocked up, so fill up and very slowly go down. It is the first time I would say the hygiene does not meet regulation standards. The owners should be ashamed of themselves! I have to do this review for the sake of future visitors.

喜欢 Yes! Beautiful swimming pool, beautiful, restaurant, beautiful setting, friendly staff. So good, we stayed an extra 2 nights!

喜欢 Just WOW! Sadly we stopped here in the last minute while on route and wish we had more time. What a gem it was! Restaurant was the best I have ever been to on a camp site. Pitch over looked a beautiful field, the lakes, the whole place, just brilliant. We even stuck our heads in this barn to find this wondifal swimming pool.

不喜欢 Only free beer would improve this place!
