喜欢 Quiet campsite that is conveniently located for a walk into Lyndhurst and local heaths. Big grounds.

不喜欢 I think the site is in new hands and has a few things that need to be addressed. It is also early in the season. I am not sure why the site is accessed by both a locked gate and a locked barrier. The code for the locks was supplied on check-in. The field we were put in was very lumpy. I think that it needs to be rolled. The toilet block didn't have lights and was basic. There was a shower block but we didn't try it.

It it helpful to know that the switches for lighting in the toilet and shower blocks are challenging to locate for some guests; we will look into whether these need some better labelling to avoid similar issues for future visitors. 喜欢 We chose this as just a ten minute drive into central Scarborough and about twenty minutes to Wykeham Forest. Plenty of space on our pitch (wish we had taken our bigger tent). Clean toilets and a nice hot shower. Also sinks provided for washing up. A fridge was available but we didnt use it on this occasion. Cows added to the atmosphere. Plenty of farmland birds around.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike. Pitches were slightly uneven but not an issue.

喜欢 Working farm campsite with chickens and cows. Open the gate, drive down the road passing the farm on the left and then a little further on the right is the campsite. One toilet with shower was fine but may need to queue if a number of campers. Friendly farmer and very ecofriendly. Saw Barn Owl.
