It was nice that there were books and games there and that people would leave items they no longer needed, which was useful. Good location and proximity to Marazion. Although I would not return for the reasons set out below, this is a lovely little campsite, just not for us.
不喜欢： Far too busy and noisy with children (which is to be expected in the school holidays I know). For that reason I would not return as we had crying babies on both sides, sometimes throughout the night, which again I know can't be helped. I also feel that two showers, four toilets and three sinks is not enough for the amount of campers and I often had to wait to shower or for a sink, and also to wash up.
Excellent week in a very family friendly site

Thanks for your review - we're so glad you enjoyed your stay and enjoy the space and quiet, as well as your lovely dog (Alfie?) loving it too! It was great chatting with you both and having a snuggle with your fur baby!
I was chatting about the takeaway vans with S.A. - as we're a long and thin site, the vans would actually cause more nuisance to some guests as they always have to be directly opposite a couple of pitches and if some of those pitches wasn't wanting the food, liking the smells or is getting annoyed with the people queuing for it, it can be difficult. it would also take up car parking spaces and could possibly be dangerous for children waiting in line with cars coming past. We've really tried hard to come up with a solution for this over the years but then the Fire Engine Serves food from 12pm-9pm daily and many local takeaways deliver to us so if someone isn't fancying cooking, there are other options!
We try to stock as much as we can in the shop but we aren't blessed with much space! We're really happy with what we are able to stock and keep the prices as low as we do.
I really hope your trip home wasn't too arduous!

My husband didn't like the shower area for the men as they weren't the same as in the ladies - with a proper shower cubicle and area for your clothes. Many thanks for your lovely and thorough review; we're so pleased you enjoyed our pitch sizes, friendly staff and the pool too! Having a quiet site at night is really important to us so all our guests can get lots of rest before another day of exploration!
We make sure to keep the facilities section on Pitch-Up up to date which lists the indoor pool as the only 'leisure on site', with the 'Play area' option remaining unticked as we don't have one - we hope you found the lovely new one at the top of our lane - about 7mins walk... it's a cracker!
Unfortunately we don't have the same space and layout options in the men's as we do in the ladies but then they do get the benefit of an extra shower! Don't worry, every shower cubicle has its own individual door to lock behind the person inside and also a shower curtain so the items hung up on the pegs stay dry!

The staff are friendly and really helpful, the facilities are clean, in fact, the showers are AMAZING and nicer than our shower at home!
We stayed with our two German Shepherds and found the local area and pubs/restaurants to be really dog friendly. The campsite is in a perfect location to walk into Marazion with the dogs.

We're so sorry that you were disturbed by the babies of nearby pitches in the night - I imagine the parents were trying hard to help quieten them down. We've always got the extra outside sinks for washing up if needed but as many people eat at common times, it does mean that occasionally there may be a wait. Overall, we have 5 powerful and free showers, 7 basins, 2 baby changing tables and a 'preparation'/hair-drying area for our pitch guests to make use of. I'm sorry if on occasion there was a wait - we do make sure that our provisions are within those stipulated for camping by the Council. We'd love to provide more but with our building, this isn't possible. It's still really great that even though you wished for more of this, that you'd recommend us to your friends, thank you!
