Set in the centre of the Olympic Peninsula, RV@Olympic offers you easy access to stunning Hurricane Ridge (45 minutes’ drive) in Olympic National Park, renowned for its panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains. You can follow trails through alpine meadows vibrant with wild flowers, as well as tough ridgetop traverses and steep trails to Dewey or Summit alpine lakes. For anyone eager to explore pristine waters, Lake Crescent (40 minutes) provides kayaking, fishing and hiking opportunities amid lush forest. Bird enthusiasts can spend their days in the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge (20 minutes), a sanctuary teeming with diverse birdlife (keep an eye open for bald eagles), where you can also watch seal colonies and spot migrating orcas between April and October. Beachcombers and rockpool explorers can venture to Rialto Beach (an hour and 30 minutes), known for its dramatic, tree-topped sea stacks and rich marine life. After a day of adventure, savour a world of flavours at Thai cafés, burrito spots and pizzerias in Port Angeles (15 minutes).
