Pitches overlooking the sea, hills all around, an outdoor pool with smashing sea views and mere steps to a small sandy cove – there are rather a lot of strings to Camping O Muiño's bow. Set beside the A Guarda and Baiona road on the Galician coast between sea and mountains, Camping O Muiño is a tiptop family seaside resort in the Rias Baixas region, with excellent facilities to keep all amply entertained. For days when you don't fancy the short walk down to the sea from the site, a large outdoor pool overlooks the sea; for days when you do, a fine sandy beach with rockpools lies right next to the park. Foodies will be pleased to learn (if they don't already know) that the Rias Baixas region is famed for two things: wine and seafood. If you want to try out traditional local gastronomy, the Camping O Muiño restaurant specialises in the same, with dishes and bottles of local wine to feast on and sip from among the sea views. When you fancy sampling some local cuisine in one of the local towns, you're eight kilometres from the city of Oia, 12 minutes' drive from a restaurant and shops in Baiona and 20 minutes by car from more of the same in A Guarda.

喜欢 Wonderful spot, Atlantic places are with great views.

不喜欢 In off season No supermarket, restaurant just for hikers (breakfast and lunch// dinner just as selected menue items for pick up at 9pm), no bar, no pool, just one bath/shower room…) however 46€pnight for 6.6m camper/2prs.
Everyone to decide whether this is worth it…

喜欢 Amazing setting right on the coast with sensational sun sets. Really enjoyed the ability to have breakfast and be impressed with the commitment of the walkers on the Campino de Santiago

不喜欢 A really small point - we went end of season and the restaurant was closed. This could be clearer when booking.

喜欢 Fantastic views of the coast with dramatic rocks being washed by the sea. Best WiFi ever on a campsite. Showers were clean and OK, although no temperature control. Good cafe. EV chargers on site. Flat camping pitches.

不喜欢 No hot water for washing or washing up.

不喜欢 La limpieza y el.orden. Algunos fijos se creen con derecho a todo. Poca limpieza y poca o ninguna vigilancia. Un pequeño ejemplo ver lavar un perro en los fregaderos. 喜欢 Great location overlooking the sea with easy access to the beach, a lovely swimming pool and friendly staff.

喜欢 La pista de fútbol y la piscina están genial. La terraza del bar es muy agradable. Tiene todos los días actividades.

不喜欢 En los baños había muchas moscas y le faltan algunos ganchos a las puertas de los baños para dejar la ropa.

Go sea fishing from the rocks next to the site or try hiking, horse riding or quad biking in the Serra da Groba. Guided kayak tours around the Mougás and Pías rivers is another popular option, and this is a top spot for visiting the Lower Miño and kayaking in the Tamuxe river over at Pozas de Loureza point. Visit Vigo, the region's major port city around half an hour's drive from base; apart from the obvious draws of its historic monuments, beaches and marina, it's got some pretty excellent museums and galleries and, as you'd expect from a major fishing port, the place is filled with top-notch restaurants serving the freshest of seafood eats. Head to the famed harbour there to take a trip out to the Cíes Islands for snorkelling and swimming. In Oia, less than 10 kilometres from Camping O Muiño, there's paragliding from the O Castro and Corbelo hills, or you can visit the lakes towards Toroña and A Cheira, where there are heaps of waterfalls and natural pools that make for popular swimming spots.
