Galician beach break anyone? When you choose to stay at FozCamp, a quiet, well-kept campsite on the Paseo Marítimo de Foz, five minutes’ walk from the edge of Foz, you have the choice of several beaches on which to languish, be it the surfing beaches at Llas (five minutes’ walk) and Rapadoira (20 minutes), or the famed Playa de las Catedrales (20 minutes’ drive) punctuated by spectacular sea arches. Lined by colourful hydrangea plants, the neat grass pitches sit under the partial shade of olive and palm trees, close to a small play area with swings. The whitewashed central hub of the campsite contains handy amenities such as a washing machine, dryer, bathrooms with baby-changing tables and hot water in the showers, as well as a reception and a licensed terrace café for snacks and drinks. If you’re sticking with self-catering, barbecues are allowed on site, but you also have the option to meander along the Paseo Marítimo de Foz into lively Foz with its gourmet restaurants and vibrant nightlife. In addition, the campsite is a handy stop on the Camino de Santiago, offering a comfortable and peaceful spot for pilgrims to rest up and re-energise.

Llas (10 minutes’ walk) and Rapadoira (20 minutes) beaches are known for consistent and varied waves suitable for all surfing skill levels; several schools offer lessons and gear rental, and there are surfing competitions all year round that bring in the big names of the sport. You can also hire canoes and kayaks to paddle along the rugged coastline, speed things up on jet skis or go scuba diving in crystal-clear waters to discover the rich marine life of the Lugo shores, while anyone into sport fishing can join a local boat trip or try their hand at catching supper from the beach. Moving back on to dry land, explore pretty seaside Foz (15 minutes) on foot, or cycle along the Paseo Marítimo de Foz to admire Bay of Biscay views along the Galician coast. Pack a picnic and stop off at the sweeping stretch of sand at Playa de las Catedrales (20 minutes’ drive) – be sure to take your camera to snap the dramatic sea arches on the beach.

喜欢 Die Lage ist super schön! Direkt an der Küste. Dort kann man sehr schön wandern. Die Betreiber des Camps sind sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.

不喜欢 Wir fanden es trotzdem viel zu teuer, dafür dass man sehr nah beieinander steht und in der Anzeige wird der Eindruck erweckt dass man direkten Blick auf das Meer hat.Dem ist leider nicht so. Man ist ummauert und hat den Blick auf andere Camper.

喜欢 Très bon camping à taille humaine. Très bon accueil, disponible et très sympa. Mme parle le français ce qui nous a beaucoup aidé. les emplacements sont de taille très correct, manque un peu d'herbe à certains endroits mais bon ça va.
Sanitaires très propres.
Ambiance général très calme et sympathique.
Nous recommandons ce camping.

喜欢 Todo perfecto!! La gente que lleva el camping es muy amable y siempre atentos. La parcela era perfecta de tamaño para nuestra tienda 4.1 y nuestro captur. Agua y luz cerca, baños siempre limpios… Repetiremos!!
