Bring the whole clan along to Castellón for family-friendly times at Camping Monmar: this site on the Costa del Azahar in the Moorish town of Moncofa is less than a five-minute walk to the Mediterranean. Watery amenities to while the time away at are plentiful on site too, with a main pool and an aqua play area to keep all ages busy. There's padel tennis and football to get stuck into as well, and free entertainment for families and a kids' club for small visitors are put on in the summer months. On days when you don't plan on going far (or doing too very much at all...), plenty of places for lying under the Spanish sun are all around. Seeking respite from the rays? The restaurant has lots of umbrellas on its terrace for shade and serves Mediterranean meals; themed dinners are also organised every now and then. If you’re up for strolling for your supper, more choice can be had in Moncofa alongside its pretty castles and churches including the baroque and neoclassical Parroquia Santa María Magdalena (a 10-minute drive) and the Torre de Beniesma (15 minutes) down by the coast. For shoreline explores, a road runs all along the sea for about 30 kilometres all in all – use this relatively flat path to cycle towards beaches including Platja Belcaire, which also has a marina and watersports (10 minutes by bike), and Playa Grao (90 minutes cycle ride). Other places of note in Castellón are within driving distance, like the Serra d'Espadà Natural Park 30 minutes where you can wander amid the cork trees with views of rocky mountains, and the Aquarama waterpark 35 minutes away in Benicàssim.

喜欢 Large Pitches , very good clean facilities with near by beach , shopping and restaurants etc. Railway near by to explore up and down the coast.

喜欢 Very clean site, quiet when we were there (early June), restaurant was closed, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely swimming pool and very clean showers & toilets.

不喜欢 Your site says cycle hire is available but when we asked the receptionist said they didn't have bikes and he didn't know anywhere locally where we could hire them. The restaurant was closed and it was quite a long walk into town where there were some restaurants.

喜欢 Good campsite with clean toilets and showers.
Be aware that some of the pitches near reception are quite difficult to access for anything over 6 metres.
Quiet site.

不喜欢 Bread can be ordered for the following morning but the baguette we received had clearly not been made that day.

喜欢 Super accueil, très bon accueil également par les résidents à l'année.
Nous avons passé 10 jours au camping avec 2 enfants de 3 et 4 ans les airs de jeux sont super , le camping est sécurisé.
Thomas était très serviable et parle très bien le français.
Les logements sont très fonctionnel et très propre.
On a pu aller à la plage qui est au bout de la rue.
Très bon séjour

喜欢 Very friendly site. Staff were very helpful. When we were there services on site we’re limited. Restaurant was an experience, not for everyone.
15 mins walk to good restaurants and shopping.
