The TAIGA Delta de l’Ebre crew is rightly proud of its stunning setting. For not only is it at the entrance of the Ebro Delta Nature Park spreading over Tarragona to the Med, it's also by the Catalonian coast in the fishing village of L’Ampolla, flocked to for its lush cuisine as well as its beaches, cliffs and coves. This is a site to suit families, couples and adventurous sorts who like to settle down in an area surrounded by natural scenery and wildlife, and for those who dig their ancient history too, as the Roman ruins of Tarragona are within easy reach. If you're around with the kids, Spain's most popular theme park, PortAventura, is within a 30-minute drive. All is sorted for facilities and entertainment on site, with a bar-restaurant, two pools, sports facilities, games and entertainment. Bikes can also be hired from the site team.

不喜欢 La parcela para campers era muy pequeña, esquinera, sin sombra alguna y con dejadez de la vegetación de la parcela que ocupábamos. El agua de la piscina estaba turbia desde primera hora de la mañana. Falta de higiene y caudal del agua en los lavabos y duchas.

喜欢 Very clean facilities, lovely pool and best one yet. Two big pools with lovely slopes down. Sun beds and area are spotlessly clean and lovely. Good animation / games for everyone if you like that kind of thing.

不喜欢 It’s like they have forgotten about the campers. You are staying in a mosquito jungle and quite untidy.
It’s like they have forgotten about the campers and concentrate more on their beach club and dining.
If you’re at the pool, a pool bar would be nice. You can only have their drinks on the tables and have to get fully dressed if you want any food in the laid out restaurant.
You can’t eat ( even crisps) around the pool as the life guard is on you straight away. Quite a few people thought this was a silly rule when you have children. The staff were also quite unfriendly !!

喜欢 Super camping, le personnel est très sympa, les sanitaires sont propres.

不喜欢 Le manque d intimité entre les parcelles … c’est dommage on est les uns sur les autres …

Et pourquoi on peut pas jouter au ballon dans la grande piscine mais dans la petite oui franchement c’est idiot comme règle …

喜欢 Le sîte est très beau, les sanitaires très propre.

不喜欢 Le Camping est très cher pour les services proposés, pas de navette pour aller en ville (15 à 20 mn à pied), à l'accueil le personnel parle très peu le Français, pas de sorties organisées, les emplacements ont des arbres avec des petites boules noires qui se sont collées et tachées le toit du camping car et l'auvent.

As mentioned, TAIGA Delta de l’Ebre is in a stunning setting: alternate days wildlife watching with days at the beach and then days' worth of roaming around Tarragona and its towns. And then there's the cuisine and seafood of local village L’Ampolla: its oysters and its black rice are much recommended… For nature and birdwatching, have at least a day around the Ebro Delta Nature Park, the wetlands and Ramsar site packed with wildlife and birds. Look out for little bustards, pin-tailed sandgrouses, red-necked nightjars, great spotted cuckoos, rollers and – hard to miss – the world's biggest colony of Audouin's gull. You could also alternate beach and birdwatching days with theme park trips with the kids, to the five areas of PortAventura in Salou to Catalonia's south and its Costa Caribe Aquatic Park, the Carribbean-themed waterpark with Europe's biggest freefall slide. And you must – must – have a trip to the fab city of Tarragona to see Roman ruins like the amphitheatre, the Roman and medieval finds of the Praetorium, and the biggest collection of Roman artefacts in Spain at the Museu Nacional Arqueologic. Fishing, watersports, hiking, cycling and a pile of tourist attractions are all available within a short distance of the site.
