Mountain scenery? Oh, there's plenty of that at Catalonia's Camping la Borda del Pubill. It's set in one of the valleys of the Catalan Pyrenees, within the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, and about half an hour's drive from the peaks of the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. This is a peacefully quiet family site set up for relaxing: it has a Finnish sauna (open during the winter season only), a chillout area with wifi, a barbecue area, a restaurant (open during high season only) and a heated outdoor pool and paddling pool. More energetically, the modern facilities also include a large sports area for tennis, football, volleyball and basketball, as well as table tennis, mini golf and a fitness centre. Entertainment for small guests is laid on in high season. Camping la Borda del Pubill also has an amenities block with hot water, a food shop (open during high season only) and a playground.
