Want to visit Barcelona but without big city prices? Have a try of Camping 3 Estrellas for a Spanish stay, set in a pine forest next to a beach with over 10km of coastal promenade – but only 12km from the ancient sights and more sands of Barcelona (there's excellent bus access into the city too). For days when you're not city sightseeing, Camping 3 Estrellas has laid on all you might need to stay put: swimming pools, a restaurant serving fresh local food, a supermarket with fresh and frozen produce plus souvenirs, and a five-a-side football pitch as well as courts for tennis, basketball and pétanque. (There's a volleyball court on the beach too.) Amenities are also well sorted, with modern loo and shower blocks with free hot water, and a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. Camping 3 Estrellas has high-speed wifi in all its facilities areas, and if you want to leave the laptop at home, computers with internet access are in the bar.

不喜欢 Te veel lawaai van vliegveld. Maar dat neem je erbij. De eerste 10 hoor je en daarna kom je het snel gewend.

喜欢 The customer service is excellent! Had an issue with my PitchUp booking and they made everything possible to turn it around. The guys at the reception were truly amazing.

不喜欢 The restaurant during the weekend was full and they took forever to get the order and then to bring the food. Between sitting and getting the food it took about 1:30h of waiting.

喜欢 Příjemní lidé na recepci, možnost výměny parcely. Sociálky čisté, sprchy prostorné. V kempu restaurace, obchod. Mimo kemp zastávka Bus, do Barcelony cca 1 hodina.

不喜欢 Pánské sociálky zavřené pisoár, uvolněná prkénko. Slabší jističe. Hluk letadel z letiště, ale člověk si zvykne.

不喜欢 Service Bereich für Wohnmobile ist in die Jahre gekommen und Frischwasserversorgung ist ekelhaft. Restaurant überteuert für die Qualität.

Take the C-31 in the direction of Castelldefels, exit at Gavà Mar (on the left along the beach with a viaduct over the C-31). Then take the third right-hand turning and follow the directions back to Barcelona to reach the site.

Camping 3 Estrellas has plenty of sights to see and things to do when not in Barcelona, like a children's farm and riding school offering lessons a kilometre from the site, and 10km of coastal promenade accessible from the beach next to the site: walk, jog or skate along here by day and go in the evening for dinner and drinks against a backdrop of Spanish sunset. Famed centre the Catalan Olympic Canal of Catalonia is just five minutes away, a highly popular spot for Spanish watersports like sailing, kitesurfing, canoeing and kayaking, and for land-based activities like cycling, archery and pitch and putt; many courses are available for all ages. Fancy neither land nor sea? Have a go at paragliding from here instead.
