Spend your nights stargazing on cloudless nights at Mira Domos, a glamping site in an area with low light pollution in Soria. Set high on a hill, the site frequently experiences starry nights and stunning sunsets. It’s also only a 10-minute drive from Burgo de Osma-Ciudad de Osma, a historic town along the Ucero river with medieval buildings and plenty of atmospheric cafés, bars and restaurants.
From Mira Domos, easily take a look around Castillo de Osma, a site on the edge of Burgo de Osma with a Roman bridge and a castle built back in the 10th and 11th centuries. It’s one of the stops on the town’s tourist bus, so it’s nice and straightforward to get to while still leaving you with enough time to see Catedral de Burgo de Osma or engage in some very important coffee sipping and food sampling back in town.
Back at your Castile and León base, there are facilities like cycle hire and barbecues. Dogs are welcome to join you at Mira Domos too. When you’re not making the most of your cosy downtime at your glamping unit or touring Burgo de Osma-Ciudad de Osma, you might want to drive 45 minutes to the city of Soria, where are medieval sites and Romanesque architecture, or 25 minutes to Parque Natural Cañón del Río Lobos for hiking and birdwatching activities.
