The Camping Municipal de Benabarre team has mucho recommendations for mucho stuff to see and do in its splendid surroundings. Settle down here, the team suggests, to be in a nifty – and mighty scenic – locale to get stuck into some adrenaline adventures on your travels around this spectacular part of Spain: if you're up for getting active, this is a stellar spot to be. You'll be within half an hour's drive from here to the world-famed Mont-Rebei Gorge, the stunning canyon of limestone rock slicing through the nearby mountains to form a border between Aragon and Catalonia, high above the deep green waters of the Noguera Ribagorzana river. Hiking through the gorge is a highly popular activity here, as is fishing or kayaking in the river waters for a gentler option (or wild swimming by jumping from the suspension bridge on the gorge if you care to have your holiday somewhat more hair raising). Sailing and kayaking on the beaut Canelles Reservoir are available within 30 minutes. Camping Municipal de Benabarre is in the Aragonese Pre-Pyrenees, a few minutes' walk from the town of Benabarre in Aragon's Huesca province. It's a peaceful place in spacious surroundings, with sports areas and tennis if you still feel a tad active, and a pool for restful afternoons for you don't. Fishing is also available from the site. For food, a snack bar and bar with terrace overlooking the pool is open throughout the season, and barbecues are allowed if you'd prefer to prep your own dins.

The Mont-Rebei Gorge is an absolute must if you're anywhere around this part of the Pyrenees, whether you're going for adrenalised adventures or simply seeking a shorter hike in these spectacular surroundings. Park up at the gorge's car park and check in at the hut there before setting off on your hike through the canyon, via the suspension bridge from which the brave can leap into the waters below (caution greatly exercised, please). Once you're through the canyon, retrace your steps to arrive back at the car park, or, if you reckon you'll be just a bit knackered, arrange in advance for a car to meet you here and take you back. Sailing and kayaking at the Canelles Reservoir are also top picks around the area (the brave can jump from the rocks into the water here too), and paragliding, gliding and microlight aircrafts are all available from Benabarre aerodrome nearby. Hiking routes and mountain bike trails leave straight from the site: ask the friendly Camping Municipal de Benabarre team for tips on following the best routes.

喜欢 What a great location and very good value for money, the site is situated within 10 min walk of the centre of the village so easy access. The site was very clean and the showers were very warm and clean as well, this was a last minuet booking on our way back to France but will be back again.

不喜欢 Our Spanish was very poor and the lady behind reception didn't speak English but with a few hand gestures and broken down words we got there so thanks for being patient.

不喜欢 No me gustó el mantenimiento de las parcelas , es publicidad engañosa ya que en el anuncio salen las parcelas verdes y luego resulta que no, solo están verdes de las personas que están todo el año, y servicio del restaurante deja mucho que desear, si hubiera estado dos días al segundo me hubiera ido, no saben si las parcelas están reservadas porque me dijeron que no y luego me dieron una y resulta que habían muchas más sin resrvar

喜欢 Me gustó, me encajo un camping pequeño, curioso, limpio aprovechando un antiguo campo de fútbol. Duchas limpias, aseos limpios. Con piscina y pista de baloncesto y tenis, , qué más se puede pedir? Además el personal del bar del camping es muy agradable. El lugar invita a rutas de trekking y bici.
