If you’re looking for lashings of culture and outdoor adventures, then you’ll get them both at Farm Narava, 15 minutes’ drive from the pretty-as-a-picture Most na Soči and 25 minutes from UNESCO-listed Idrija in Goriška, western Slovenia. At this peaceful hill farm, you’ll also get a warm welcome with a chilled drink, find lots of active things to do in the spectacular alpine countryside and join campfire gatherings in the evening. What’s provided on site? A basic breakfast, hot meals and drinks, fresh mountain water, beer and wine. There are no cars permitted in the grounds of the farm (there’s parking space down the road next to the camper stop) so it’s nice and safe for kids, who can have a good run around and bounce on the trampoline. You, meanwhile, can chill in the communal area with sitting areas, a pizza and grill kiosk, or the clubhouse decked out with a kitchen and shower. There are wild swimming options along the Idrijca river, and you can party at the local Pivovarna ZAJC brewery (10 minutes’ drive) by night.
