Pitch up in Portugal among trees, but be close to the sand, surf and sea of local beaches? Any sensible sort should want some of that, at any time. Parque Orbitur Vagueira is in a pretty prime Portuguese location, just two kilometres from the sandy beaches of Vagueira and Areão, a short walk to Ría de Costa Nova, a kilometre from Vagueira and within a 15-minute drive of Vagos, Aveiro and Ílhavo. It's set in a wood and has a big sports ground on which to tackle tennis, football or basketball, free wifi in public areas, outdoor bowling, table tennis and a restaurant.

喜欢 Toilet/showers areas were clean.
The walk to the beach is 3 miles. But rhe beach was beautiful. A couple of nice ars/eateries. Fresh market and veg stalls near the beach.

不喜欢 Washing machine area no light on. Paid €6 for washing machine with credit card that was fine. But the dryer was another matter. They wanted you to download an app for LavaThur and create ancaccount and enter all personal information then pay with credit card €6 which did not work. So could not dry washing. Toilets /showers need seriously upgrading, pipework antiquated. The cafe/bar was poor. The menu a waste of time only cheese & Ham rolls to order. Not even toast and Marmalade. I will not be return8 g. Sorry.

喜欢 Great swimming pool but not heated - very cold.

Clean toilets and shower block
Overall we enjoyed our stay

不喜欢 On arrival our first impression was the site looked unkempt, it could go with an uplift. But once we had chosen our pitch and settled in the site didn’t seem too bad.
The cafe was closed and it felt that we were at the end of the season

喜欢 El camping está muy bien, la piscina aunque un poco pequeña para lo grande que es el camping también nos gustó mucho, las hamburguesas y crepes dulces buenísimas, el personal del camping es estupendo y el ambiente también ,los baños limpios y pudimos alquilar la nevera

不喜欢 Aunque es algo que el camping no puede controlar tengo que decirlo… hay muchas moscas y se hacen pesadas, la organización en recepción es inexistente, para hacer una simple pregunta tienes que hacer toda la cola del check in , la tienda son unas estanterías en recepción y tienen poca cosa

喜欢 El lugar , es precioso lleno de pinos . También tiene un carril bici al salir del camping donde puede acceder a otros pueblos.

不喜欢 Los baños,son horribles, súper viejos y súper sucios, daban asco incluso cuando los limpiaban, nose notaba la limpieza.El rollo de papel brillaban por su ausencia.El internet pésimo.Tienen mucho que mejorar.Tambien añadiría vigilancia nocturna, ya que es un camping muy grande donde van mucho tipos de personas.

不喜欢 A peu près tout.
Les emplacements tentes ne sont pas délimités, c'est donc la jungle, tout le monde fait n'importe quoi, il n'y a aucune gestion. Très peu de terrain plat, beaucoup de pente.
Une seule borne électrique de 6 prises (mais seulement 5 fonctionnent) pour environ 40 emplacements...
Des vans stationnés sur les places voitures donc aucun moyen de se garer.
Des véhicules aménagés au milieu des tentes (super dangereux au milieu des enfants, déplacements constants!)
Des sanitaires sales du matin au soir, poubelles pas vidées aux extérieurs

不喜欢 Emplacement tente pas super. On ne peut pas mettre les voiture à coter de notre tente et pas de délimitation de parcelle puisque pas de parcelle donc si vous reste de la place tant mieux. Personnel pas sympas. Piscine minuscule et sanitaire pas eaux chaude

As you'll see, Parque Orbitur Vagueira is in a pretty prime Portuguese location: have town or city days out in between days surfing or bodyboarding of Vagueira and Areão beaches, or just wander around the local countryside making it your mission to munch from as many Portuguese menus as poss. If you're an angler, go and learn more about your craft via the Xávega fishing technique of Islamic origins where a large net is thrown into the sea from small fishing boats and then dragged to shore by people or tractors; head to Sesimbra, the Meco area and the beach of Vagueira to see more. Also recommended in the region is the 17th-century Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Penha, patron saint of the nearby town of Grândola in the Setúbal District.
