喜欢 Small site a short distance away from a nice town. Reasonable sized pitches with very clean facilities. No cars allowed on site and they have to park outside. Excellent wifi.
不喜欢 We found it slightly unusual that to access the site in or out by camper van , you had to locate the warden. All hot water for showers and washing up was an additional cost but overall cost very reasonable so can’t complain.

喜欢 Schöner gemütlicher Campingplatz im traumhaft Örtchen Woerden. Man ist schnell in Utrecht und Rotterdam. Ein kostenfreier Parkplatz befindet sich nahe des Campingplatzes. Die sanitären Anlagen waren immer sehr sauber.

喜欢 We really enjoyed Camping Batenstein, the pitch was a great size and there was plenty of room between pitches so you didn't feel crowded.
The facilities were really clean and the showers were amazing. Yes, you paid for a token but it was worth it for a decent shower where you didn't need to keep pressing a button.
Didn't use the Wifi but it was a great 5g signal on the phone.
We left our motorhome here and walked to the train station - an easy 15 min walk at most - and caught the train to Zaanse Schans, Amsterdam and Gouda. So much easier than worrying about parking etc. Trains were really frequent and nice and cool.

喜欢 Friendly host, forgave us that we were 15 minutes late due to traffic and welcomed us in, quick check in process. 2 shower tokens included for free. Lovely scenery.

喜欢 We stayed as a family with two children aged 7 and 10. It was very child friendly, they were able to easily find their way around the facilities and enjoyed watching the birds and ducks in the streams on the site. The water play park next door was fantastic! Free entry and a bar with nice coffee and snacks.
The campsite facilities were clean and easy to use and access. Water 20 cents and shower 90 cents so make sure to take coins with you.
Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The location was great with a short 10 minute walk to the train station or into the town. We visited Leiden and Amsterdam and had a great time in Woerden too.
