Camping Wedderbergen

喜欢: Large open pitches each with water & electricity. Ultra clean toilet block, cleaned at least 3+ times a day even when site was nearly empty! Very helpful staff. Good spacious indoor swimming pool with flume. Nice outdoor pool for kids with pleasant seating area (when the weather was suitable, we were 3 nights late August when was wet & cold). Would be ideal site for families with young kids.

不喜欢: Over complicated electronic shower system with pre-paid dongle gizmo. You get soaked working out exactly how they work and then they are too powerful with no adjustment possible. Hate to think what happens if it runs out of money mid shower!! No hot water in the washing cubicles a definite negative for such an expensive camp-site (by far the most costly of our 4 Dutch & Belgian sites). Even the re-cycling needed the electronic dongle to get rid of your trash!! Restaurant complex was very modern, nicely equipped and large but again not very personnel with self service ordering of mostly fast food via electronic screens with bank card only pre-payment (think McDonalds fast food!). Not a lot of cosy ambience to be had. The thought of what site might be like when at near to full capacity. It was at literally only about 10% full for our 3 nights 26-28 Aug '23 and felt quite lonely (thus we were allowed to choose virtually any free pitch we could see). With only one toilet block for such a large site of 200-300(?) touring pitches and hundreds more statics, cabins etc, access to the facilities when full might be very challenging?

喜欢: Loved this campsite, great facilities, really clean and very tidy 🏕 The pitch was a great size and close to the amenities. Free Wi-Fi 👌 Kids activities available daily.

不喜欢: WLAN nur sehr schwach im Wohnmobil gehabt

不喜欢: Le manqué d'un grand lac pour faire du paddling, le lac existent etait trop petite avec d'eau boueuse. Le manqué du connexion wi-fi dans la zone de tentes.

喜欢: De rustige plek en de omgeving. Veel animatie voor de kleinkinderen.

不喜欢: Schoonmaaktijden en wachttijden sanitair, 1 locatie is wat weinig. geen fietsersdoorgang bij poort, wandelaars en fietsers gaan door 1 smalle doorgang tegen elkaar in. De mail waarin stond 'mocht er iets zijn dan staat de technische dienst voor u klaar'. Toen ik namelijk een probleem had aan mijn caravan was er niemand die daar even naar kon kijken, het was blijkbaar alleen voor de faciliteiten van de camping. Dit was zo niet omschreven en het zou ook wel heel gek zijn als de technische dienst daar niet voor zou komen. Al met al waren we toch heel tevreden hoor, prima camping.
