Camping Oasi is in a natural setting on the coast 35 kilometres south of Venice, overlooking the Adriatic Sea and surrounded by plants and trees. Guests have access to a private wide sandy beach with umbrellas, sun loungers and a dedicated section for dogs. The site has two restaurants, three bars and a small supermarket, and there's also two swimming pools with a slide, a football pitch, a tennis court, a bowling alley, a basketball court and a beach volleyball court. There is a kids' club and on-site entertainment in the summer months. The Ventian Lagoon, just north of the site, has a cycle path running around it, and bikes can be hired on site. The area can also be explored on foot, by boat or on a horse riding excursion from the nearby stables. The small town of Chioggia is just a few kilometres away, and Venice can be easily reached by boat or bus.

喜欢 Check in member of staff was friendly and helpful and gave us a map of the site.
Our pitch was spacious.
Swimming pool was quite nice.
We had a great day out in Venice.

不喜欢 A large, rowdy, busy impersonal site which was not for us. On both nights of our stay there was loud music, impossible to get away from. On the second evening, there was a nightclub on the beach so there was noise from music from 7.30pm until about 11.30pm and noise from the clubbers for almost an hour after that. Not sure where all the hundreds of young people came from.
We never found the motorhome service point, despite a long conversation with reception staff. We were directed to a barrier and told someone would give us access to grey water disposal. Nobody arrived. We hunted for a service point and could not find it. We were also told to use the taps on the site to fill our water tank. They were not suitable. So the site is not really suitable for modern motorhomes.
Our pitch was not very nice- mostly compacted soil and full of potholes. There was white spraypaint on the ground, possibly indicating where repairs were needed. I had to clear litter off the pitch on arrival which included a plastic bottle. There was also an ugly drain on the path near our pitch. I wish I had not looked down it. It was really off putting.
The rubbish disposal/ recycling area was inadequate and way below the standard of other sites we stayed on in italy. It was also a very long way from our pitch, beyond the site entrance.
The shower block was very busy so we used our own shower in our motorhome- good job we had one.
The site was just too noisy, large and busy for us. We were so pleased we could get away and spend time in Venice.

There's a walking/cycle trail around the Venetian Lagoon, or you can take a boat trip to see the sights of the Pellestrina islands, Burano, Murano and Torcello. If you'd prefer to canter, have a riding lesson at the stables just by the site. It's about 10 minutes' drive from here to Chioggia, aka Little Venice, a colourful seaside town home to old buildings, restaurants and fishing and scuba diving trips. For the real thing, Venice is 50 minutes' drive away, or ask the site staff about getting there by boat or bus. Padua, Treviso, Vicenza, Verona, and Ravenna are all within day trip distance. The Bosco Nordio nature reserve (15 minutes) is a peaceful place for woodland wanders and wildlife spotting; drive the same distance south to reach the spectacular scenery of the Po Delta Regional Park, one of the biggest nature reserves in Europe.
