添加您的业务详细信息In a sparklingly scenic corner of Elba, Villatent at Casa dei Prati is equipped with well-maintained canvas accommodation for those eyeing up safari-style stays on this prettiest of Italian isles.
This small-scale holiday park is on the edge of Lacona, a seaside village on the island's southern coast. Sandy shores, beach bars and the bright blue Tyrrhenian Sea are all about a 10-minute walk from base, so make sure to bring spare towels, sunblock and some change to buy scoops of ice-cold gelato.
The safari tents are pitched in a shaded part of the campsite and are laid out like a small-town street, making it easy for kids to make new friends and for adults to spend time chatting with neighbours. Inside, proper beds, a kitchen corner and a fully-furnished living area are all perks of this glamp-style set-up.
Elsewhere on site, a morning espresso and fresh bread can be picked up at reception, where there's a small bar area for your daily caffeine fix. Bikes can also be borrowed for short periods of time if you need to head into town for supplies.
Leisure time is perhaps best spent at the site's open-air pool, whether that entails energetically splashing around in the water or lying on sun loungers and gazing out over the olive trees and hills stretching out to the horizon… For extra-indulgent relaxation, try the hot tub on site for a soothing 20 minutes of hydromassage (extra charges apply).

Starting from base, you might want to earmark a few hours to hike around the Capo di Stella peninsula (hiking paths around 1.5 kilometres from site). The coast here is made more interesting by lots of tiny bays and natural grottos that you can admire from high up on the path, as well as the varied birdlife and wild goats that dwell around the rocks.
Further afield, there are lots of GTE walks ('Grande Traversata Elbana') to tick off, starting at Porto Azzurro (20 minutes' drive), Procchio (20 minutes), Cavo (45 minutes) and elsewhere. If you feel like you deserve a treat after all that exertion, stick to the eastern side of the island, where there are plenty of local vineyards to explore.
Watersports are also easy to come by when you're surrounded on all sides by the sea. Head to nearby Marina di Campo (20 minutes) if you'd like instruction in all things scuba, or to try out the challenging assault course at Jungle Float Elba.
