Book yourselves into Hu Firenze Certosa Camping in Town and you’ll be in a fabulously spacious and scenic spot surrounded by greenery on a hillside about four miles from the city centre. This chilled-out site is in a very strategic position for dipping in and out of Florence – you can drive into the city centre in around 15 minutes, but it's likely to be much easier to hop on the bus from a stop a few minutes’ walk away and save yourself the hassle of parking. Take in all the amazing art, architecture, food and city vibes… and then when it’s time to relax, head back into the hills and enjoy an evening soaking up the peace and the views. After a long day of sightseeing you'll no doubt be pleased to have the chance to take a nice dip in the outdoor pool, pick up a cool beer at the bar and then settle down at the restaurant for a good meal on the cool covered terrace. Breakfast is served at the restaurant too, and the site has a well-stocked mini market for self-catering supplies. Florence may be the big draw here, but you could easily use this place as a base for other Tuscany trips too, heading out into the Chianti hills for walks and wine tasting or setting off for a stroll around Siena.

不喜欢 Unser zugewiesener Platz war sehr weit von Toiletten und Duschen entfernt - die Platzbeleuchtung hat in unserem Bereich auf Grund Sanierungsarbeiten nicht funktioniert

喜欢 Die Mobilheime sind neu und gepflegt und man hat einen sehr schönen Ausblick. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden wiederkommen.

不喜欢 Wir hatten in der ersten Nacht keine funktionierende Heizung, aber sie haben mit einem Heizlüfter direkt Abhilfe geschaffen und am nächsten Tag sind wir umgezogen und da hat alles funktioniert. Das Sofa und die Stühle sind unbequem. Die Betten aber sind gut.

Personale cordialissimo e sempre disponibile.

Docce e bagni nuovi,ben tenuti e molto puliti.

不喜欢 Durante la mia visita erano in corso lavori di miglioria, quindi l’area risultava fangosa e un po’ scomoda da percorrere. Comprendo che si tratti di interventi necessari per migliorare la struttura e che quindi il disagio sia temporaneo. Tornerò volentieri a lavori conclusi per poter apprezzare meglio il posto.

To Florence first, of course… the travel options here are so handy that you can easily plan to do several smaller trips or one full-on day out, depending on how long you’re staying for. The list of things to see and do is practically endless, but should certainly include things like the Uffizi Galleries, the Accademia Gallery (home of Michelangelo's David), the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo… and plenty of stops for tasty food and drinks. Speaking of drinks, you’ll be handily close to the Chianti wineries here, so spending a day or two exploring the area, stopping in at vineyards, taking rural walks and visiting pretty villages like Greve in Chianti (half an hour’s drive) and Castellina in Chianti (35 minutes). For an insight into local food as well, tour the Museo della Pasta del Pastificio Morelli (40 minutes). A little further afield but worth the trip are other Tuscany towns and cities including Pistoia (35 minutes), Siena (50 minutes) and Arezzo (50 minutes). The intriguing Museum of Glass in Empoli (35 minutes) is worth a visit too.
