Trying to pick out a peaceful place in the Italian Lakes? The shores of Lake Maggiore are often a good bet – this is the second-largest lake in Italy, so there's usually plenty of space for visitors to spread out and avoid clustering into crowds. Down at the southern end of the lake in the Piedmont town of Dormelletto, Camping Eden makes a particularly fine base for some time spent soaking up the views and chilled-out vibe of this area. There’s a huge 24,000 square metres of land in which to relax here, with plenty of plants and local wildlife around the place. If that's not enough nature, you can walk across town in about 10 minutes to access the Parco dei Lagoni di Mercurago nature reserve. It’s probably the lake you've really come here for though, right? And won't be disappointed on that front, because the site has its own private sandy beach on the lake shore, along with slipways, a pier and buoys for the use of guests who’d like to bring a boat or try out some watersports. Don’t worry if you don't have your own kit – there are several activity centres within a short walk or drive where you can sort canoe rental, paddleboarding and wakeboarding as well as land-based outings like trekking or mountain biking. Time to relax instead? Spend the day on site, taking swims in the outdoor pool, sunbathing on the loungers and having a leisurely meal in the restaurant-bar, which also doubles up as a pizzeria. Kids, meanwhile, can let off steam in the sports field or play area on site.

喜欢 Great welcome from the staff, very friendly and helpful, lovely quiet site with great access to the lake and very clean swimming pool. Restaurant staff and food were really good and very reasonable good value dishes.

不喜欢 If you arrive between 1230 and 230 you cannot go to the pitch it’s there sleep time but you have access to the bar with good food

喜欢 Sono stati tutti gentili e disponibili..piazzole premium abbastanza spaziose e vicino al lago..bagni puliti e molte cose utili..carino il bagno dedicato ai bambini

不喜欢 Piazzole non in piano non molto in piano..mi sono servite due prolunghe per arrivare alla corrente..il blocco dei bagni non è completamente chiuso quindi durante il periodo freddo e con vento è una condanna andare a farsi la doccia...il personale non è informato per treni o orari per gli spostamenti per visitare le attrazioni adiacenti e prezzo alto

喜欢 Sehr schöner Campingplatz, idyllisch gelegen.
Die stellplätze haben eine gute Größe.
Wir hatten den letzten platz bevor es zum Strand geht, perfect mit kind und hund, da ein kleiner Spielplatz und die hundewiese unmittelbar daneben sind.
Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Sehr nettes Personal.
Und das Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr lecker.
Wir kommen sicher wieder.

当地景点

Dormelletto is a handy source of ice creams, pizzas and baked goods, but for a bit more choice of restaurants and nightlife many guests head a little way north to Arona (10 minutes' drive). It's also a lovely place for a wander, with an archaeology museum and the Rocca fortress to visit. Just outside the town sits the huge Colossus of San Carlo Borromeo statue – the trail up into the hills from the Piazza del Popolo will take about 20 minutes to walk. To see different watery views, head further north to Stresa (half an hour) for ferries to the Borromean Islands, or go south to Diga del Panperduto (20 minutes) for good canalside walks and bike rides. In between the two there are plenty more places for a waterside walk, a swim or a scenic glass of wine. Away from the lake, kids may enjoy a trip to see the animals at Faunistic Park La Torbiera (15 minutes), and there's always a lot to see and do in Milan (an hour).
