A farm site in the hills of Italy’s Marche region, Terre del Piano is a hillside spot that's well set up for restful stays. That's particularly true for those planning to tour on two wheels, as it’s got good bike storage facilities and you can hire cycles on site too. Reception staff can also organise electric-bike tours throughout the local area, calling in at local wineries and olive farms to discover traditional regional flavours. When you're not whizzing about on two wheels, this site has a good range of facilities to make life comfortable, including well-kept amenities blocks (including disabled access). For company, befriend the farm animals, including ducks, geese and hens. Grocery shopping can be done in the pretty hilltop town of Corinaldo (five minutes’ drive) or buy organic fruit and veg from the site owners (depending on the season). Heading out, it takes 25 minutes by road to get to Senigallia and its long sandy beaches. A little further afield (but still easily within reach for a day trip) is the seaside city of Ancona (50 minutes), where you can admire impressive Roman-era ruins and Renaissance palaces, and then put your feet up with a cappuccino in café-lined piazzas. The city is also the jumping-off point for ferry adventures to Albania, Croatia, Greece and beyond.

喜欢 Schöner und ruhiger Platz. Parzellen zum Teil schattig oder mit Holzterrassen und Abschattung ausgestattet. Sanitäranlagen sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Camperver- und entsorgung vorhanden.
Der Betreiber Simone ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bereitet mehrmals wöchentlich für seine Gäste Pizza zu. Es gibt einen Verkaufsstand, wo man selbst produzierte oder regionale Produkte kaufen kann. Ein idealer Platz für Ruhesuchende und Individualreisende. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

喜欢 Lovely little campsite made perfect by Simone the owner who was friendly and very helpful. In particular he sorted me out for a replacement camping gaz bottle which I would have found near impossible!
Had planned to stay one night but very quickly decided to stay for two.

Corinaldo which is a lovely village was well worth visiting. I also went to Sennigalia on the coast which had a long sandy beach and quite a nice town centre.

It's a lovely rural area and I left with some wine and olive oil from local producers. Simone can also supply wine!

Good washroom and laundry facilities if you need them.

喜欢 Location: Lovely, very quiet and surrounded by farms with a farm wine shop just down the road. Good cycling area. Corinaldo is fascinating hilltop town with a Wednesday market.
Facilities: excellent - bathrooms which a well tiled, clean with tolet, washbasin amd shower. Washing up area with washing machine and dryer. The pitches are flat, part grass, part gravel with water and electricity.
There is a large communal room with tables and chairs and it is there that Simone, the owner, does his weekly pizza weekend when everyone sits together over wine and delicious pizza.
Terre del Piano has a wonderful atmosphere and I think unbeatable, it is special.

Sitting up on a hilltop, walled Corinaldo (five minutes’ drive) is rightly considered one of the prettiest towns in Italy. Here you can potter in and out of churches and dig into a couple of museums, and in summer medieval festivals bring jousts and jugglers to its cobbled streets. Explore a bit more of the Marche’s ancient history at Ostia Antica’s Roman ruins (15 minutes) – and there’s impressive architecture in Ancona (50 minutes) too. The tiny mountain republic of San Marino (an hour and 20 minutes) is well worth the drive to see its hilltop castle alone, and you can cool off on guided tours of millennia-old limestone caverns at the Frasassi Caves (45 minutes). For lazy days with the kids, head to Senigallia (25 minutes) to sunbathe on popular sandy beaches edging the Adriatic Sea. Further afield, Rimini (an hour) is a summer hotspot known for a buzzing nightlife in trendy beach clubs.
