What a great spot for a Liguria summer break… Camping Pian dei Boschi is a mere 10 minutes’ walk from the beach in Pietra Ligure, and it’s filled with trees to ensure there are plenty of nice shaded spots on hand when you need a bit of chillout time. It’s also a most handy location for getting out to explore the surrounding area, known as the Riviera delle Palme – as well as several stretches of sandy beach nearby, you can also get out to explore local caves, poke about in ancient villages, try outdoor activities like mountain biking and climbing, or plan family days out at the nearby waterpark. Getting the essentials sorted should be pretty straightforward too, as there are plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance (and also a train station if you fancy getting out to explore without the car). A shuttle runs down to the equipped area of the beach through the summer too. Not that you actually have to head out to swim, eat or shop if you don’t want to, as there’s a mini market and a restaurant/pizzeria right there on site, along with a swimming pool and paddling pool (with a sun terrace and loungers alongside too). Other leisure facilities on site include a tennis court, table tennis, playground and an outdoor fitness area, and there’s a programme of kids’ activities and evening entertainment in the summer months.

喜欢 De receptie is zeer vriendelijk. Het restaurant is ook zeer goed, niet alleen pizza’s maar ook lekkere gerechten.

不喜欢 De plaatsen eigenlijk allemaal camper plaatsen. De plaatsen zijn zeer klein. Het is een drukke lawaaiige camping.

喜欢 Partendo da un presupposto che per noi è stata la prima volta l’esperienza nella tenda , ci siamo trovati bene . Il posto è calmo e tranquillo persone molto accoglienti e delle vibe ottime . Stra consiglio questa esperienza ; sicuramente ci torneremo perché ci siamo trovati . (Ogni cosa che c’è scritto nella descrizione del posto c’è quindi inutile che vi elenco tutto).

不喜欢 Il bisogno di mettere la cuffia in piscina . E la mancanza di carta igienica . Non era un problema perché l’avevamo portata .

Mai visti dei bagni così puliti in qualsiasi altro campeggio.
Con amici abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni e 2 notti in tenda, piazzole molto ampie ed attrezzate, sia per tende che per camper.
Sicuramente se dovessi tornare a pietra ligure, non avrei dubbi su dove soggiornare.

The beach is the place to start, of course… in Pietra Ligure it’s a sandy stretch with both free and equipped areas, and plenty of places to pick up drinks and snacks while you sunbathe. To see a bit more of the coastline, hire a boat from the harbour or take a drive to one of the nearby beaches like Il Cavallino Bianco (10 minutes’ drive) or Varigotti (20 minutes). For a change of swimming scenery, try the slides and wave pools at Le Caravelle waterpark (20 minutes). Turning attentions away from the coast, there are some great climbing routes in the hills close to the site, or you can head underground to see prehistoric human footprints at the Grotte di Toirano (20 minutes) or follow the five-kilometre system of caves and lakes at Grotte di Borgio Verezzi (10 minutes). Back up on the surface, take a trip to the medieval walled town of Finalborgo (15 minutes) or set forth for city time in Genoa (an hour and 10 minutes) to see Europe’s biggest aquarium, ride the scenic Bigo elevator and visit the maritime museum.
