All roads lead to Rome – and all roads should lead to the beach too. The spectacular seafront setting of Camping Internazionale Castelfusano means you can have both: it's slap bang opposite a big sandy beach, and only 25 kilometres from the fab old piles and centuries of history of Rome. Campeggio Internazionale Castelfusano is three kilometres from the town of Ostia, under an hour from Rome by public transport. Base yourself here for beach days and city sightseeing, wildlife wanders in the State Natural Reserve of the Roman Coast next door, and proximity to sailing, horse riding, tennis and scuba diving, all within five kilometres. The site runs a kids' club in summer with activities such as crafts and juggling, alongside evening entertainment for all including live music and theme dinners. There's a pool and a playground, a TV room and table tennis, and a bar, restaurant and mini market. Among the amenities are a launderette with washing machines and tumble dryers; a washing-up area, and three washrooms with toilets and free hot showers. Barbecues are allowed and gas cylinders are available for sale.

喜欢: We loved everything here. Great pitch for our large motorhome. So much space for the dogs. Across the main road a fantastic woods to walk the dogs. Behind the site 3 mins walk to such a large beach. This is a perfect location here stay. Reasonable restaurant n mini market. Nice quiet pool.Lovely clean showers and toilets. Lovely friendly staff

不喜欢: Would have liked a bit better food in the restaurant but shouldn't really complain we are on a campsite😀

喜欢: Nette Betreiber, nettes Personal Nicht viel los. Anbindung nach Rom ok, wenn man nicht zu spät heim will. Strand nah. Gute Organisation.

不喜欢: Bäder ok. Sauber aber alt Strand ok. Partymusik der Strandpromenade. Recht abgelegen. Stellplätze schwer zu erreichen und die meisten ohne Strom sehr klein.

喜欢: Great location to the beach and lido. Market was brilliantly stocked. Loved the spacious pitches within the trees.

喜欢: Il camping è veramente completo di tutto. Il personale è disponibile e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Il ristorante ha un rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale e Ciccio lo gestisce in maniera sublime. Il mare consiglio di andarci in macchina. Il parcheggio si trova bene ed è gratis. Bello tutto!

In between all those days in Rome, explore the local coastline and its beaches, the wildlife areas and heaps of other old sites and ruins in the region. Sailing, horse riding, tennis and scuba diving will keep you busy in and out of the water within five kilometres of the site. Next to Campeggio Internazionale Castelfusano is the State Natural Reserve of the Roman Coast, covering almost 16,000 hectares including the last section of the Tiber and the mouth of the Arrone river, in an area of dunes and villages, archaeological remains and pinewoods. The ruins of Ostia Antica and the Castle of Julius II are within the reserve, 10 kilometres from base. Rome, 25 kilometres away, has enough old sights (the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and St Peter's Basilica for starters) to keep you geekily occupied for yonks, but if you yearn for yet more, a good day trip is to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este, 50 kilometres away at Tivoli. Less culturally but most amusedly, the Zoo Marine amusement park and Rainbow Magicland theme park are 10 and 40 kilometres away.
