Fantastic family trips are easier to finagle with the help of Vigna Sul Mar Camping Village, a holiday complex spread out over 130,000 metres of space with tiptop facilities – think a swimming pool and a hot tub – and a private stretch of wide, sandy beach edging the clear blue Adriatic Sea in Lido di Pomposa. This part of the coast – and the park, come to think of it – double up as prime play areas for the kids and chillout zones for the parents. If you’re aiming to rove around the regional highlights of Emilia-Romagna, the site has a full programme of tours available and rents out bikes to get you cycling along the surrounding wetlands of the Po Delta Regional Park. And if you’re after activities that don’t require lugging the kids far from base? The park’s sports facilities include beach volleyball, aqua aerobics and exercise classes. If mums and dads are needing a break from the tiddlers and teens, all they have to do is drop them off at the kids’ clubs run by professional staff (or let them amuse themselves at the games room if they’re old enough). When the family’s back together again, eats are to be had at the restaurant, bar and pizzeria. A small shop and a greengrocers are also about for snacks and essentials, and there’s a newsagent for picking up magazines to flick through on a sunbed by the freeform swimming pool.

喜欢 Ambiente accogliente per famiglie...parco giochi bello, piscina bella ma, due scivoli laterali pericolosi essendo molto curvi con il rischio di farsi male.

不喜欢 Da segnalare: i bidoni dell' immondizia erano quasi nascosti dalla vegetazione... è preferibile che siano presenti in vista la raccolta differenziata. La piscina era un po' sporca (nel fondo c'era un po' di sabbia e altre sostanze)

喜欢 Most of all I liked regular and thourough cleaning of the toilet/shower/dishes area - every morning and night, it was spotless!
Children animators were great and really entertaining! Good job, guys!
Pool area safe, supervised and fun to be at.
Overall-great place for families with toddlers and young children.

不喜欢 Mosquitos (the managament was actually taking action-they were spraying the entire place after midnight).

We would prefer if it was quiet after 22h instead of midnight (our pitch was near the centre where shows and games were held until 23h and later).

不喜欢 Kein schöner Campingplatz. Konnten nicht barfuß laufen, weil überall kleine picksige Körner herumlagen. Außerdem war unser Platz neben einem stinkenden Gulli.

喜欢 Stellplatz und Anlage sauber. Auswahl im Shop gut.

不喜欢 Keine deutsche Animation vorallem bei der Kinderanimation konnte niemand deutsch. Bei der Poolumrandung ist einiges defekt - Verletzungsgefahr. Pool ist nicht sehr sauber. Schwimmerbecken konnte nicht zum schwimmen genutzt werden. Toilette am Pool muss dringend erneuert werden. Sehr ekelig.

Toiletten zum Teil defekt. Seife wurde selten aufgefüllt. Poolliegen kosten 3 € / Tag und Liege. Pool öffnet erst um 10 Uhr. Die Liegen am Strand sind viel zu teuer.

喜欢 Good site with easy access to the beach with clearly define section for dog owners. Loved the beach restaurant, we used this a couple of times. Main restaurant and bar were also good.

Very good site shop, plenty of choice and the staff on the whole camp were very friendly and helpful. Good showers and toilets etc

不喜欢 Entertainment at night went on for perhaps a little long but this was a minor issue as it didn't disturb us much

To check out more beaches than the one that’s practically on your doorstep, make tracks to Lido delle Nazioni (just under 10 minutes’ drive) and paddle in the shores, then swing by the Lago delle Nazioni lake right next to it for freshwater sailing and swimming. More gazing at the water’s to be had in Comacchio, a town built over a series of lagoons – rather like Venice, in fact – 10 minutes away. Take a snapshot on the eye-catching Trepponti Di Comacchio bridge and find out more about the area’s history at the Manifattura dei Marinati museum (15 minutes). The Saline di Comacchio, a prime place for birdwatching (15 minutes), are hereabouts too and if you’d like to look out for four-legged creatures in the wilds toddle off on a totter through the Natural Mesola Forest Reserve (25 minutes). Seeking a stroll in the city? Ravenna (40 minutes) is known for its series of stunning churches and religious buildings with interiors covered in intricate mosaics.
