添加您的业务详细信息Mirtiotissa Caravan is a small-scale site on the western coast of Corfu, a 500-metre stroll from Mirtiotissa beach and just under half an hour’s drive from the old streets of Corfu Town.
The accommodation is discreetly placed on a spacious plot of more than 4,200 square metres, surrounded by olive groves, lush grass and other greenery. All of this open outdoor space is easy to take advantage of, as each caravan comes with a private terrace, and is equipped with garden furniture and an open-air kitchenette for alfresco cooking. You can source supplies in the handy store at Kokkinogia (five minutes’ drive).
Immaculately kept, wood-clad caravans have a comfortable set-up, with toilets, electricity, hot water, a shower and basin. There’s also an inside kitchen with an oven, sink, kettle, toaster and kitchenware, and a solid internet connection will keep you in touch with the folks back home.
If you’d like to explore the local area, you can borrow bikes from the site owners. When you start to wander away from base, you’ll quickly realise that this site is surrounded by a gorgeous landscape of cliffs, coves and crystal-clear waters. English novelist Lawrence Durrell once said that Mirtiotissa beach was the loveliest he knew, and it’s easy to see why, given its dramatic cliffside setting – but remember, there are no facilities there, so take your own picnic and water.

At a guess, the waterslides and video games at Aqualand Corfu Water Park (10 minutes’ drive) will be high on the agenda for kids. Beaches are a big draw too, with cliff-backed Mirtiotissa a 15-minute stroll away, while other fab choices include Glyfada (10 minutes’ drive) and Kontogialos (15 minutes).
Let the kids have their fun and then you do your thing. Step back in time to explore Corfu Town (25 minutes), with its fortresses, colonial palaces and lots of cafés in the medieval Campiello – it’s also worth dropping by the Archaeological Museum of Corfu for its collection of Roman treasures. The 19th-century palace at Achilleion (25 minutes) is awash with frescoed interiors, and you can see much of the island from Kaiser’s Throne observation deck (10 minutes).
Sporty types can play a round at Corfu Golf Club (10 minutes) or rent bikes (20 minutes) to ride quiet roads to deserted coves.
