Get to Grimaud, St Maxime and glitzy St Tropez with a stay at family park Camping La Pinède, set over four hectares among the green Var vineyards of Provence.
The medieval village of Grimaud is a couple of kilometres away; French Riviera sandy beaches within the same distance, and there's easy access to Provence pursuits and sights like the Verdon Gorges and the Saint Cézaire Caves.
La Pinède has a good-sized aquapark open throughout the season, with a heated pool, a paddling pool, two slides and a Jacuzzi. A kids' club and a teens' club run in July and August, along with activities for adults like water aerobics and zumba; there's also a pétanque court, ping pong, bike hire, free wifi, a restaurant, a snack bar and a wellness area.
For amenities, the site has toilets and showers, a launderette and a washing-up area. It's equipped for disabled guests.

The castle and the French Riviera beaches of medieval village Grimaud are two kilometres from Camping La Pinède, along with restaurants, shops and activities like bowling and go karting.
Within four kilometres are sailing and diving classes at Marines de Cogolin; within five, have a day out around the museum and pipe factory of the town of Cogolin.
A bit further afield are Gassin, with its 18-hole golf course and its spectacular views over the Gulf of Saint Tropez; the harbour, farmers' market and glam of St Tropez; boat trips around the St Tropez peninsula, or offshore fishing from St Maxime.
You could also get to Gonfaron and its turtle village 25 kilometres away; splash around for the day at Marineland in Antibes, or wander around the cloisters and Roman ruins of ancient town Fréjus, 30 kilometres away.
