Try it out for yourself at Le Jardin de Rose, a friendly, peaceful site in the serene Vienne countryside. This is a place where you can relax with a good book, tuck into a peaceful picnic or simply sit and contemplate the countryside. This dog-friendly site is a kilometre from the village of Romagne, 10 minutes’ drive from the market town of Château-Garnier and 45 minutes from the Romanesque city scenes of Poitiers. For a fab way to explore the French countryside, you can book breakfast to eat on site, then take a countryside stroll to scope out the local delicacies in the village markets, or drop in at one of several restaurants within a 10-minute drive. Within a five-minute drive of the cheeky monkeys at La Vallée Des Singes and a 45-minute drive from Futuroscope, this is a site for the whole family, with kayaking, canoeing, and fishing nearby too. There's often a stunning view of the stars at night. If you need to get in touch with the outside world, there should also be good 5G reception.

喜欢 Lovely welcome from our hosts. Peaceful tranquil traditional French Ferme. Lovely surprise of cool watermelon as we pitched our Campervan in the shade of a tree. We opted for EHU. First season for our hosts who were also busy with B&B guests. We were able to watch the Perseid meteor shower as no light pollution. Hope to go back when practical if we can. Maybe this time as B&B guests…

喜欢 The starry, starry night…..wow - we lay watching the milky way and some of the best star viewing we have been able to do - a natural dark sky!

The new owners were so welcoming and friendly. Keen to get feedback and have plans to invest on the site without fundamentally changing the charm of the site.

喜欢 Lovely warm welcome from the owners who have recently taken over the site and have plans to build upon what is already a very pleasant location.
Pitch choice was up to me so I chose a shaded area of what looks like an old orchard.
The theme of this site is charming rustic character, but that doesn't mean the standards are low, the utilities are perfectly clean and stocked, everything a camper needs.
There is a B&B on site too and guests mingle together if that's your thing.
Mobile phone reception was great.

喜欢 I literally don't know where to start ♥️
The camping area is gorgeous, well maintained and so homely and comfortable.
The washroom is ideal, lovely hot shower, clean and lovely thoughtful touches....

Now on to Barry and Min ♥️, when we arrived Barry was super helpful, told us lots of local info and a lovely walk for the pup.
We had a fab night's sleep and went on our way....
However, 20 minutes down the road at the actual fuel pump we had a shredded tyre and a spare that wouldn't fit the alloys bolts 🤦‍♀️😢 our recovery company told us we could not get any help until Monday....
It was Saturday morning 😤!!!
I tried a garage but as my French is not great my only thought was to contact Barry and Min
They are literally superheroes!! They came out to us, 20 minutes away! With tools, bolts and a tonne of ideas. In the end Min actually took me on an hour round trip to get a new tyre fitted. Barry stayed with my husband, prepared everything and even helped fit what can only be described as the most awkward tyre change in history!!!
I honestly can't thank them enough, without them we would be beyond stuck and have no resolution. We are now en route to the ferry.

Barry and Min you are absolute angels, thankyou 💖 look forward to those drinks in Tenby ♥️♥️

There’s a golf course (15 minutes), for those who want to practise their hole-in-one, and when you want to swap the bicycle wheels for a tough pair of hooves, there's horse riding at Lemaire Jean (five minutes). To throw a bit of history into the mix, wander among the half-timbered houses and Romanesque churches of Poitiers (45 minutes) or check out the cathedral, museum and Upper Town in Angoulême (an hour).

可以烧烤，但必须搭建架子远离地面，且始终有成人看守。
建议住客自行携带高质量手电筒，因为部分营地区域没有照明。
禁止携带枪支。
请不要触摸或喂食动物。

狗

Protective masks must be worn at all times in common areas.
