喜欢 This site is quiet and peaceful. At night time you can hear the animals and
birds in the nearby forest. The stars in the clear night sky are breath-taking.

The current owners (Pia and Eric) have only been there since the beginning of July and they have big plans to make this little quiet site even better. Pia was kind enough to bring us 2 big garden chairs for our comfort and asked me about all the things that would make our stay next time easier since we are limited on the equipment we can carry on our motorcycles.

Pia was happy to show me where there was a freezer to refreeze my ice-packs to allow us to keep our food cold.

There is one fully equipped shower room which was kept beautifully clean. I know the plan is to increase the available toilets and shower facilities in the near future.

There are picnic tables and areas of natural shade or sunshine available all around the site.

The nearby village is within easy walking distance with a bar/pub. The village boulangerie is of the Artisanal type and so is not open every day or in the mornings, so buy your morning bread the evening before you need it. There are multiple other options a short drive away for supplies.

We had a very peaceful stay here and I'll definitely check in here again when I am in the area.

喜欢 Très bon accueil et le lieu est vraiment calme, l'emplacement très grand et on se sent vraiment comme à la maison!
Si vous aimez les couchers de soleil et les étoiles, je vous conseille de vous installer sur la droite en arrivant

喜欢 Lovely welcome from our hosts. Peaceful tranquil traditional French Ferme. Lovely surprise of cool watermelon as we pitched our Campervan in the shade of a tree. We opted for EHU. First season for our hosts who were also busy with B&B guests. We were able to watch the Perseid meteor shower as no light pollution. Hope to go back when practical if we can. Maybe this time as B&B guests…

喜欢 The starry, starry night…..wow - we lay watching the milky way and some of the best star viewing we have been able to do - a natural dark sky!

The new owners were so welcoming and friendly. Keen to get feedback and have plans to invest on the site without fundamentally changing the charm of the site.

喜欢 Lovely warm welcome from the owners who have recently taken over the site and have plans to build upon what is already a very pleasant location.
Pitch choice was up to me so I chose a shaded area of what looks like an old orchard.
The theme of this site is charming rustic character, but that doesn't mean the standards are low, the utilities are perfectly clean and stocked, everything a camper needs.
There is a B&B on site too and guests mingle together if that's your thing.
Mobile phone reception was great.

喜欢 I literally don't know where to start ♥️
The camping area is gorgeous, well maintained and so homely and comfortable.
The washroom is ideal, lovely hot shower, clean and lovely thoughtful touches....

Now on to Barry and Min ♥️, when we arrived Barry was super helpful, told us lots of local info and a lovely walk for the pup.
We had a fab night's sleep and went on our way....
However, 20 minutes down the road at the actual fuel pump we had a shredded tyre and a spare that wouldn't fit the alloys bolts 🤦‍♀️😢 our recovery company told us we could not get any help until Monday....
It was Saturday morning 😤!!!
I tried a garage but as my French is not great my only thought was to contact Barry and Min
They are literally superheroes!! They came out to us, 20 minutes away! With tools, bolts and a tonne of ideas. In the end Min actually took me on an hour round trip to get a new tyre fitted. Barry stayed with my husband, prepared everything and even helped fit what can only be described as the most awkward tyre change in history!!!
I honestly can't thank them enough, without them we would be beyond stuck and have no resolution. We are now en route to the ferry.

Barry and Min you are absolute angels, thankyou 💖 look forward to those drinks in Tenby ♥️♥️
