Camping Le Château de Chanteloup

喜欢 Location great for one night stop coming down from ferries to southern France. Easy check in. Shady pitches where we were (not all were). Nice pool and really lovely bar area.

不喜欢 Shower and toilet facilities were ok but not really enough for amount of campers.

喜欢 The setting was very pleasant. Staff were friendly although not well briefed- no knew how to book the ‘country meal’ they were advertising. We also had to wait a long time for reception to be manned on arrival (1600).

不喜欢 There were not enough showers and toilets. 1 disabled shower and 2 toilets for more than 30 pitches where we were. It was 300m to nearest alternative.

The staff was all new when you arrived, it takes a litle bit of time to remember everything but they are working hard ;) and at this very busy period, almost everyone arrives at the same time so it is hard to take care of all the arrivals at the same time :)

喜欢 Sehr schön gelegener Campingplatz im Park eines Châteaus. Schöner Platz unter Bäumen. Nicht alle Plätze sind im Schatten. Saubere Sanitäranlagen, aber nicht viele. Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen.
Würden wiederkommen.

Quirky, laid back feel
Spacious pitches
Bar and restaurant on site
Wonderful pool, not busy first thing in morning
Good cycling around the area
Wonderful ambience
Excellent local baked goods brought to site every morning

不喜欢 Slightly dated showers that were difficult to keep clean owing to very sandy soil and gravel being trodden around.

喜欢 Really liked the relaxed vibe, the pools and playground, the friendly nature of the staff. The bar, restaurant, facilities were all fantastic. We would definitely recommend!

来自经理: Thank you very much for this positive comment. About the shade, especially now with the heat and the drought, all of the shady pitches are already booked. When the weather is cooler, all the sunny spots are in demand, it is alsways like that but we have many pitches with shade at Chanteloup ;)

喜欢 Beautiful area and grounds. Not loud but friendly atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Not there long enough to fully use facilities. Very clean

不喜欢 Chemical toilet area not easy to find.
