喜欢: The picturesque-ness of the site

不喜欢: Poor toilets, showers and dirty dish washing facilities. There appeared to be more and maybe better facilities but they were all locked and only the old ones were open to us. No toilet paper. Dish washing room had nesting birds who had dropped everywhere. One shower of three broken. These things let down a beautiful setting. Maybe once the other facilities are open, things will be better, but we felt as if they didn't care about us enough to open them.

喜欢: The location was ideal , less than 5k from the major motorway, with good access roads to and from the motorway! The lady (Nadia) who we phoned prior to arrival was most helpful as we were arriving outside of reception times (18:30hrs). She gave us the gate code and told us to park wherever we fancied, as the site was quiet. The electric hook up on my particular pitch was a standard 3pin connection, no European 2pin connector needed! The fresh water was close by and the toilets and washing facilities, showers, pot washers, washing machines, tumble driers were all housed together in a convenient area.

不喜欢: None really, asides from the grass pitches were a little soft in places, so be careful in the wet months where you pitch, check it 1st!

喜欢: The site itself is in the grounds of an old chateau.It is well signposted and off the main road.The booking in process was friendly and efficient and English spoken. The plots are large and grassy with trees for shade.We liked that we could choose where we wanted to be.Some of the plots are by the side of a very pretty lake but beware mosquitoes. Bread is available to order and there is a small bar /restaurant with a limited menu . WIFI is available at reception or at the bar free of charge. There is a covered swimming pool and a good children’s play area with bouncy castle trampolines etc.

不喜欢: The sanitary facilities were cleaned on a regular basis but could possibly benefit from an update. The chateau hosts wedding parties which were not normally a problem except one Saturday night when there were very loud fireworks at midnight which we were not expecting.Given some warning we would not have minded in fact would probably have stayed up to watch them rather than going to bed!!

不喜欢: Showers could do with an upgrade. Wi-Fi only seems to work in the bar area.

喜欢: Nice quiet and scenic rural location. Able to select our own pitch. Indoor pools and play areas for kids including bouncy castles, trampolines and indoor pools. Bar area really nicely done with converted old buildings. Friendly reception.

喜欢: Relaxed site with plenty of space. Nice lake to stroll around. Covered pool. There is an EV charging point. The bar/restaurant is simple but good. Reception staff were very helpful.

不喜欢: Most pitches are on a slight slope

喜欢: Good site, pitch overlooking the lake. Lovely friendly bar/restaurant. The staff were very helpful. The nearby town of Pontchâteau has a couple of great restaurants, Influence and Le 11.

不喜欢: We booked this site as my husband likes to fish so he was a bit disappointed that the lake was only a foot deep!
