Camping Le Romantic

喜欢 Rural setting, quiet location with with a bar and some entertainment available if you wanted it. Camping areas were reasonably flat and electric hook up worked.

不喜欢 Washing and toilet block was very basic, mixed sexes in the toilet with urinals opposite the cubicles with no privacy partition. The showers we used were basic and the water backed up so you were standing in your dirty water. There was no drain cover. The temperature of the water was variable so if you needed to do your washing up you would have to boil a kettle to be able to wash up. There was no toilet paper or soap available. The facility for emptying waste water was primitive and not sign posted, just a soil pipe coming out of the ground with a fresh water tap next to it, not very hygienic.

喜欢 Nothing.

不喜欢 I stayed for a Saturday night and there was loud noise (music) from clubhouse until 01:30. The pitches were on top of each other, no privacy whatsoever. The toilets were unisex and were disgusting and no paper or soap. I didn't even dare look if there were any shower facilities! Luckily I only stayed one night and couldn't wait to leave in the morning.

喜欢 The area is stunning we were there to see the Tour de France . The site is in some areas very basic, but as this was our first time camping in France we don’t know if this is the norm. The site is pretty On the plus side the club room/bar was great on the Saturday night, stunning Belgian beers. Pity that was the only night it was open due to staffing problems. flat where the camping area is.

不喜欢 The basic sides are mixed toilet's, shower and not many of them no hot water for washing or washing pots, but the showers were so volcanic, that you couldn’t get under them, very strange. The other thing was hidden was the waste water / toilet waste point, if you need it look down the bottom just past the play are on the left there is a post with a power socket a tap and a 4”/100mm waste pipe sticking up with a cap on it.

喜欢 Informal site, basic facilities but everything you need. Camping area was level and shady, very quiet with lovely views.

喜欢 Trevligt bemötande vid incheckning

不喜欢 Ett ”servicehus” som höll på att falla ihop, trasiga toaletter, inget varmvatten till disk. Duscharna var ett hån och det tog ca 3-4 min innan det kom fram varmvatten. Husvagnsplatserna var inte gjorda efter fullbreddsvagnar på 2,50. Mover ett måste för att få vagnen på plats. Tror det egentligen är en stugby med privata stugor på området. Nä hit åker vi aldrig mer 👎

喜欢 The view from our camping pitch amazing sunsets. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clubhouse. Great beer.

喜欢 Peace and tranquility and view of the lake.

不喜欢 Dated showers and toilets. It all felt quite run down and unloved.
