Get down to the Gers region for fishing, boating, a lush location and some swish glamping in Gascony, all available with ease at Domaine d'Escapa. Family holidays and romantic retreats are both on the cards at this splendid park, set between Toulouse and Bordeaux 10 minutes' drive from Estipouy: this is your cue to clap eyes on the site pics to see the scenic setting of your next hol... Off site, it's but a short drive to Gascony highlights like Auch and Marciac, or to investigate the local gastronomy such as Floc de Gascogne, armagnac and truffles (souvenirs of these essential). The site has excellent outdoor activities for all ages, including a lake for fish and release angling (bag fishing kit from the Domaine d'Escapa team); boating (craft and safety kit also available to borrow); cycling… And there's yet more: if you want a watery time without launching yourself into a boat, make for the summer outdoor pool for plunges or lazy laps, or to the spa available for idle hours all year round. If you're roaming around free range, there are Arabian horses to meet and greet, spectacular views all around, wooden toys for outdoor play and a cabin with toys, books and board games. It's all mighty safe for tiddlers around here too, as all cars must be parked at the site entrance to provide a peaceful and exclusively pedestrian park. Among all this, delve into local dishes by working your way through the menu of the site takeaway, or by picking up regional produce at the nearby markets of Mirande and Marciac. Guests can also order baguettes, pastries and breakfast: just let the friendly team know your requirements when you arrive.

Carré d'Étoiles 微型屋舍

喜欢: Super cadre naturel reposant pour une nuitée en carré étoile 💫

不喜欢: Carré étoilé vieillissant qui aurait besoin d’un suivi logistique pour l’aider à traverser les années. Quelques manquements dans le suivi des prestations proposées (pas de vaisselle pour deux, un seul transat bain de soleil, plus de parasol …) Ajustements qui font défaut et viennent pondérer le charme du séjour. Très bon panier gourmand dîner et petit déjeuner, au prix certes un peu trop élevé.

Tipi 3 间卧室 豪华旅行帐篷

喜欢: Nous avons apprécié le lieu, les activités proposées, le calme qui entoure ce domaine. Une parenthèse de liberté et de sérénité... L'accès à la baignade était le top vu la grosse chaleur, et le coin hamac top aussi pour se reposer.

Set off by foot, mountain bike, quad bike or canoe to explore the Gers countryside and waterways around Domaine d'Escapa, stopping off at production sites for local produce including saffron, goats' cheese and foie gras. Markets are at Mirande, 15 minutes' drive away, and at Auch, Vic-Fezensac and Marciac, all within 35 minutes (and if you're around in summer, Marciac's jazz festival is a must). A history day can be had among the castles and dungeons of Bassoues (25 minutes), a fortified medieval town with a famed 14th-century keep and handsome half-timbered houses. There's also Maubourguet (50 minutes), home of several old piles and famed for its spectacular market every Tuesday morning. Further afield, department capital Tarbes is just over an hour away.
